SPINDLE APPARATUS FOR USE AT A MACHINE TOOL, IN PARTICULAR A LATHE, AND MACHINE TOOL WITH SUCH SPINDLE APPARATUS
A spindle apparatus for use at a machine tool, in particular a lathe, has: a spindle assembly including a workpiece spindle to receive an elongated workpiece and a spindle motor for driving spindle rotation; and a rotary guide-bush assembly axially arranged with the workpiece spindle, the rotary guide-bush assembly including a rotary guide-bush to receive the elongated workpiece and supported at the rotary guide-bush assembly to rotate with the elongated workpiece received in the workpiece spindle about the axis while enabling a movement of the elongated workpiece in the axial direction. The spindle and rotary guide-bush assemblies connect to each other by a torque transferring connection, between the spindle and rotary guide-bush assemblies along the axis to transfer driving torque during acceleration or deceleration of the spindle rotation driven by the spindle motor to the rotary guide-bush of the rotary guide-bush assembly.
TOOL CHUCK, TOOL HOLDING METHOD AND TOOL REMOVING METHOD
Provided is a tool chuck that allows precision gripping of a tool by a collet when this collet is pushed into a chuck body.
The tool chuck includes a collet for gripping a tool, a chuck body having, at a leading end thereof, a receiving portion for receiving the collet inserted therein along an axis thereof, a holder containing the collet therein and configured to be movable together with the collet along an axial direction based on the axis, and a nut fitted on the chuck body in a radial direction based the axis and containing the holder in the radial direction. The holder has a movement allowing mechanism for allowing the holder to move relative to the nut along the axial direction when the nut is moved relative to the chuck body along the axial direction.
Coupling Device
A coupling device for coupling a hollow shaft taper to a receiver provided on the machine tool, having a collet and a tension rod by means of which the collet can be brought into a release position or a clamping position. The collet is embodied in one piece and has several clamping segments extending in its longitudinal direction. Upon moving the collet into the clamping position, said clamping segments are moved in a radial direction against spring forces exerted by the spring element. The spring elements are an integral part of the collet. Each spring element between two adjacent clamping segments is provided to extend in the longitudinal direction of the latter.
Balancing adapter
A balancing adapter for clamping a rotor to a machine part of balancing machine that rotates about an axis of rotation. The balancing adapter has a main body having a central accommodating opening for the rotor, a collet chuck having clamping elements for detachably retaining the rotor in the accommodating opening, and an actuating device for moving the clamping elements between a clamping position and a releasing position. In order to enable positionally accurate and reproducible accommodation and retention, the clamping elements of the collet chuck are supported on a guiding surface on the main body.
Axially elongate dental machining portion
An axially elongate dental machining portion includes a machining region machinable by a dental machining device, and a fixing region for fixing the axially elongate dental machining portion to a holder of the dental machining device. In the fixing region is a fixing projection oriented transversely relative to a longitudinal axis. In a condition of the machining portion being mounted in the holder, the fixing projection bears against a holding nose positioned in complementary relationship on the holder. The machining region has a machinable surface which has a maximum spacing relative to the longitudinal axis, measured normal to the longitudinal axis, and the fixing projection has a maximum spacing relative to the longitudinal axis, measured normal relative to the longitudinal axis, that is greater than the maximum spacing of the machinable surface relative to the longitudinal axis.
OFFSET COLLET LOCK FOR POSITIVE FEED DRILLS AND METHODS FOR DRILLING
An offset collet lock includes an actuator, a bracket, a sleeve, and a concentric collet. The bracket is coupled to the actuator and is linearly movable along an actuation axis by the actuator. The sleeve is coupled to the bracket and is linearly movable along a drill axis by the bracket. The drill axis is perpendicular to the actuation axis. The concentric collet is coupled to the sleeve. Linear movement of the sleeve along the drill axis expands or contracts the concentric collet.
HAND-HELD STRAIGHT GRINDER
A hand-held straight grinder is provided. The hand-held straight grinder includes an elastic collet, an output shaft, a clutch assembly and a power assembly, where an opening is formed in one end of the elastic collet, and communicates with an internal space of the elastic collet; one end of the output shaft is in transmission connection to the power assembly, and the other end of the output shaft axially sleeves the elastic collet in a sliding manner, and is radially and fixedly connected to the elastic collet; the other end initially extends to the opening, and the opening is in a radial contracted state through cooperation; the clutch assembly includes a toggling unit, a first clutch unit and a second clutch unit, where the toggling unit is located between the first clutch unit and the second clutch unit.
Hydraulic chuck with a reduction sleeve
A hydraulic expansion chuck for receiving a tool includes a chuck body, an expansion bushing which is received in the chuck body and defines a chuck opening, a pressure chamber which is interposed between the expansion bushing and the chuck body, and a reduction sleeve. The reduction sleeve is received in the chuck opening of the expansion bushing and defines a tool holder receptacle for receiving the tool to be chucked. The reduction sleeve includes a connector element configured to releasably attach the reduction sleeve to the chuck body. The reduction sleeve also may include an adjustment element configured to adjust the axial position of the tool in the tool holder receptacle.
Collet adaptor
A collet adaptor (10) including a body (11, 12) having forward and rear ends and an axial bore (17) extending through the forward and rear ends. A drawbar (13) disposed at least partly within the bore (17) for connection to a collet (14). The drawbar (13) is secured within the bore (17) and a biasing arrangement (42) acts on the drawbar (13) in a direction tending to shift the drawbar (13) rearwardly within the bore (17). The drawbar (13) is displaceable within the bore (17) against the biasing influence of the biasing arrangement (42) to shift forwardly within the bore (17).
