SELF-PROPELLED HARVESTING MACHINE
A self-propelled harvesting machine for harvesting a crop field has a ground drive including multiple working units, a control system and a sensor system. The sensor system periodically emits transmitted pulses of electromagnetic transmission beams in at least one transmission direction onto the crop field and the transmitted pulses are reflected on the crop field and are received as echo pulses by the sensor system. For at least one portion of the transmitted pulses, different partial beams of a single transmission beam are reflected by plants of the crop field lying one behind the other with a time offset, so the particular resultant echo pulse is composed of time-offset partial echo pulses. The control system determines a value for the crop density on the basis of a time correlation within the resultant echo pulse, and controls the ground drive and/or the working units on the basis of the determined crop density.

Ground inclination stereo profiling apparatus and method for mechanical weeding component
The present invention discloses a ground inclination stereo profiling apparatus and method for a mechanical weeding component, and relates to the field of green agriculture. The ground inclination stereo profiling apparatus for the mechanical weeding component includes a rack assembly, an operation depth and inclination intelligent perception and feedback system, a hydraulic depth adjusting system and a control assembly. The operation depth and inclination intelligent perception and feedback system includes a depth synchronous crank-slider mechanism and an inclination synchronous crank-connecting rod mechanism for synchronously transmitting a depth change and horizontal inclination information of the weeding component; the control assembly includes a processor, a first angle sensor and a second angle sensor; the processor controls the hydraulic depth adjusting system and the motor assembly; and the hydraulic depth adjusting system conducts depth adjustment on the weeding component through a hydraulic cylinder.
Determining orientation of a mower using horizon mapping
A mower's control system can maintain horizon maps that associate horizon features with known relative positions. When a mower's orientation is unknown, the control system can obtain an image that captures the horizon from the mower's current viewpoint. The control system can process the image to detect any horizon features that appear within the image and to determine their positions within the image. The control system can then access a horizon map to identify matching horizon features. The control system can compare the known relative positions of any matching horizon features with the positions of the horizon features within the image to thereby determine the mower's current orientation.

Level control method for an agricultural combine
A method of controlling an angular orientation of an agricultural combine having a chassis includes: determining a slope angle of the ground over which the combine is traveling; determining a tilt angle of the chassis; receiving an angle signal from an operator input device; combining the slope angle of the ground and the angle signal from the operator input device to calculate a desired angle of the chassis that is greater than horizontal (0) and less than the slope angle of the ground.
Modular platform for cutting sugar cane
An agricultural harvesting machine for harvesting sugar cane, which can be coupled to a tractor or any self-propelling machine, by using mechanic power (TDP) converted into hydraulic power (pump) to activate different devices of a set so that it may form a wire cutting front for lanes of plants which are cut and thrown behind over the soil and organized in rows for later collecting and processing.

HARVESTER SEPARATION FRAME ORIENTATION ADJUSTMENT
A harvester may include a chassis, a first separation frame movably supported by the chassis and upon which crop material is deposited, a second separation frame movably supported by the chassis and upon which the crop material is deposited; a reciprocating drive operably coupled to the separation frame to reciprocate the separation frame and an adjustable link operably coupled between the separation frame and the chassis. The adjustable link facilitates adjustment of an orientation of the first separation frame independent of an orientation of the second separation frame without altering a reciprocation stroke distance.
