The fastener alignment systems include a fastener orienting structure, a fastener alignment tool, and a transfer structure. The fastener orienting structure is configured to orient a plurality of fasteners in a predetermined fastening location pattern. The fastener alignment tool is configured to operatively engage with the fastener orienting structure at a predetermined relative orientation, to receive a corresponding fastener in each of a plurality of fastener alignment receptacles, and to retain the corresponding fastener. The transfer structure is configured to selectively transfer the plurality of fasteners from the fastener orienting structure to the fastener alignment tool. The fastener alignment kits include the fastener alignment tool and the plurality of fasteners. The methods include methods of utilizing the fastener alignment system.

Drilling aid apparatus and a method for drilling a structure

Drilling aid apparatuses and methods for drilling a structure are provided. In one example, a drilling aid apparatus includes a bushing holder portion. The bushing holder portion has a first surface for facing a first structure portion, a second surface on a side opposite the first surface, and an opening formed through the bushing holder portion extending from the first surface to the second surface. The opening is configured to receive a bushing that is sized for guiding a drill bit for drilling into the first structure portion. A first coupling member is coupled to the bushing holder portion and is configured to couple to a second structure portion for supporting the bushing holder portion in a fixed position relative to the first structure portion.

Predrill guide methods

Methods for using Predrill guide tools are disclosed. The predrill guide tools include a body having a vertical planar member with a front side and a back side, a horizontal planar member with a top side, a bottom side and a tapered end, and an angled drill guide with a front face positioned within a vertical plane; two or more ribs extending from a top side of the horizontal planar member, and one or more keels extending vertically from the bottom side of the horizontal planar member. Methods of using the predrill guide tools to drill holes into deck boards for use with deck clips are also disclosed.

DRILL GUIDE AND METHOD

A drill guide for drilling a bore into a workpiece having a curved surface. The drill guide comprises a drill block body having a first side portion and a second side portion opposed to the first side portion. The drill block body defines a throughbore between the first side portion and the second side portion. The throughbore extends along a throughbore axis. A first leg protrudes from the first side portion of the drill block body. A second leg protrudes from the second side portion of the drill block body. A first wing is hingedly connected to the first leg.

LOCK AND PIN COMBINATION FOR COLD WORKING CRACKS
20240058905 · 2024-02-22 ·

A lock and pin for the structural and fluid tight repair of cracks not amenable to high temperature repairs or synthetic material patches. Fluid tight pins and locks seal the crack while one or more locks prevent the crack from growing. These repairs need to endure the remaining life cycle of the machinery part while withstanding all the strain, pressure, heat and expansion and contraction of the part before the crack(s) were formed. Often these cracks evolved due to engineering design flaws that will require even greater strength from these areas than when new.

Positioning device for drilling

A positioning device for drilling including a positioning base which is provided with a positioning through hole, and a plurality of clamping assemblies which are provided on the positioning base and circumferentially spaced round a central axis a, as center, of the positioning through hole. Each of the clamping assemblies includes an abutting part having an adjustable distance from a central axis of the positioning through hole.

HOLE DRILLING JIG ASSEMBLY

A hole drilling jig assembly for drilling holes in a support at a precise location includes a pair of locking pliers that include a pair of jaws and an adjustment screw. An eyebolt is coupled to the adjustment screw and a pulling line may be coupled to the eyebolt for pulling on the locking pliers. A pair of panels is each coupled to a respective one of the jaws. Each of the panels is compressed against a support when the locking pliers are closed. Each of the panels has a pair of apertures extending therethrough to facilitate holes to be drilled through the support at a precise location.

POCKET HOLE JIG

A pocket hole jig includes a body with a base surface positionable against a workpiece and a recess extending into the body from the base surface, a gimbal pivotally coupled to the body and including a gimbal aperture extending therethrough, and a drill guide received by the gimbal aperture and including a drill guide aperture extending therethrough. The drill guide aperture defines a guide axis for a drill bit such that the drill bit is insertable into the drill guide aperture along the guide axis. The drill guide is pivotable with the gimbal relative to the body to adjust an inclination angle of the guide axis relative to the base surface, and the drill guide is movable along the gimbal aperture.

SELF-ADJUSTING POCKET HOLE JIG

A self-adjusting pocket hole jig includes a base having a clamp end and a toggle end, a guide carried by the base and reciprocally movable between a raised position and a lowered position. A clamp assembly is carried by the base and reciprocally movable between an engaged position and a disengaged position. An adjustment mechanism is coupled between the guide and the clamp assembly. The adjustment mechanism is arranged to move the clamp assembly in a forward direction to the engaged position and correspondingly move the guide in a downward direction to the lowered position, and arranged to move the clamp assembly in a rearward direction to the disengaged position and correspondingly move the guide in an upward direction to the raised position.
