MINIMUM QUANTITY LUBRICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD

A minimum quantity lubrication (MQL) system includes a controller, a lubricant module coupled to a tool spindle of a machining apparatus, and a pneumatic module coupled to the spindle. The lubricant module is configured to supply lubricant at pressure to the tool, as controlled by the controller. Likewise, the pneumatic module is configured to supply pressurized air to the tool, as controlled by the controller. The controller is configured to direct the lubricant module to supply lubricant prior to the controller receiving a START signal from a machine tool controller. Optionally, the lubricant pressure level is predetermined based on known characteristics of the tool that is coupled to the spindle. Optionally, the START signal is anticipated by referring to a signature/profile of the operational steps of a machining process where a timeline or time table of lubrication request intervals are identified.

Lug nut removal tool

A lug nut removal tool enables a user to remove a seized lug nut from a threaded stud. The lug nut removal tool comprises a drill bit which is drilled through a guide which can be adjusted in size by a collar. The drill bit comprises a plurality of blades separated by slots; the plurality of blades are mechanically coupled to cutting edges. The guide comprises guide slots which can be used to align the guide about the seized lug nut. In this manner, the user can attach the guide onto the seized lug nut and tighten the guide with a set screw. Then the user can attach the drill bit onto an air drill to cutting edge out the seized lug nut.

CUTTING INSERT COOLING DEVICE

The technical objective of the present invention is to provide a cutting insert cooling device capable of easily mounting a spraying member to a cutting tool while preventing the rotation thereof and eliminating the risk of losing a screw. To this end, the cutting insert cooling device according to the present invention, capable of spraying cooling water toward the cutting insert coupled to the cutting tool, comprises: a head part which forms the terminal end portion of the cutting tool and has a cooling water guide flow path part, and to which the cutting insert is coupled; a spraying member having a cooling water spouting flow path part to spray, toward the cutting insert, the cooling water guided through the cooling water guide flow path part; and an attaching and detaching unit that slides the spraying member to the head part so as to attach and detach the same.

Power tool

A spindle of a drilling tool includes a socket portion having a first axial length (a1) of a first diameter (d1) for receiving and attaching a drill bit to the spindle. The spindle includes a fluid conduit having a second diameter (d2) narrower than (d1) for conveying a fluid to the socket portion. An interface space with diameter (d1) is formed between the fluid conduit and the drill bit when the drill bit is installed in the socket portion. A fluid conveyor, having a third diameter (d3) narrower than (d1), connects the fluid conduit to the drill bit to avoid fluid gathering in a periphery of the interface space. The fluid conveyor includes a first O-ring abutting a mouth of the fluid conduit, a second O-ring abutting a mouth of a fluid channel of the drill bit, and a spring between the first and second O-rings.
