Backrest pillow
A pillow is provided that includes a back section having opposite front and back surfaces that each extend between opposite top and bottom surfaces. The surfaces each extend between opposite first and second side surfaces. The pillow includes spaced apart first and second arms that each extend outwardly from the front surface. The first arm has an inner surface and an opposite outer surface that is continuous with the first side surface. The second arm has an inner surface and an opposite outer surface that is continuous with the second side surface. The inner surfaces are continuous with the front surface. The top surface and the side surfaces each include a first portion comprising a first material and a second portion comprising a second material that is different from the first material.
Person support
A person support for supporting a person includes a first layer and a resilient second layer. The first layer has a surface topography with a first region with a curvature configured to correspond and generally conform, in an unloaded state, to the shape of a first portion of a person's body. The surface topography has a second region configured to correspond and generally conform, in an unloaded state, to the shape of a second portion of a person's body. The resilient second layer overlays the first layer and forms a person support surface.
COMPOSITE SPACER FABRIC
A warp-knitted textile composite has a spacer fabric that extends in a production direction and a transverse direction and has an outer flat warp-knitted fabric layer of predetermined stretchability, an inner flat warp-knitted fabric layer of lesser stretchability in the production and transverse directions than the outer layer, and spacer threads interconnecting the warp-knitted fabric layers. A decorative cover layer is attached to the outer flat warp-knitted fabric layer and is formed with compressed areas where the spacer fabric is permanently at least partially compressed for structuring the decorative cover layer.
Mattress core material and bed mattress
A mattress core material includes a plurality of flat cushion bodies stacked in a thickness direction thereof, including at least a first cushion body which becomes an upper part when using the mattress core material; and a second cushion body which becomes a lower part when using the mattress core material, the first and second cushion bodies including a three-dimensional filaments-linked structure, the first and second cushion bodies each including a high-density upper surface layer having high filament density, formed in an upper surface layer region; a high-density lower surface layer having high filament density, formed in a lower surface layer region; and a low-density elastic layer formed between the high-density upper surface layer and the high-density lower surface layer, the low-density elastic layer being lower in filament density than each high-density surface layer, a intermediate position in the thickness direction of the mattress core material in which the first and second cushion bodies are stacked as upper and lower parts in the thickness direction, respectively, the high-density intermediate layer having a function of distributing a vertically applied compressive stress, along a curvature of an interface between the first and second cushion bodies in the high-density intermediate layer.
BEDDING AND BEDDING COVER SHEET
A bedding includes: a cushion layer which is formed with a filament three-dimensional bonded member and which is breathable; a breathable water-repellent layer which is provided on the upper side of the cushion layer and which is breathable and water-repellent; and a breathable water-retentive layer which is provided on the upper side of the breathable water-repellent layer and which is water-retentive and is breathable during water retention.
Air-supply device
An air-supply device for supplying breathing air into a breathing-air region. An inflow opening connected to an outflow region via an interior. An outflow region connected to the outflow region via the interior. The outflow region formed on a flexible, air-permeable material. For flexible use of the air-supply device and to avoid significant adverse effect to a user, provision is made for the air-supply device to have a sheet-like, flexible portion, which has a first flat side and a second flat side, located opposite the first. The outflow region arranged on the first flat side. The interior formed between the first flat side and the second flat side. In the interior, at least the outflow region has arranged on it at least one spacer, which prevents the outflow region from butting against the second flat side.
Mattress
A mattress is described, comprising an ergonomic layer made of foam material and a breathable layer made of three-dimensional polymeric material. The ergonomic layer and the breathable layer are mutually coupled. The breathable layer is individually wrapped in a casing made of a three-dimensional breathable fabric. The combination between the breathable layer and the respective casing, which is also manufactured with a three-dimensional breathable type of material, allows to obtain the maximum breathable characteristics for the mattress.
Multi-Layer Woven Fabric Article
A multi-layer article of woven fabric includes a woven base layer; a woven mesh layer, disposed above the base layer, the mesh layer utilizing a first common warp for each one of a plurality of stacked wefts; and a woven binding layer, disposed above the mesh layer. The base layer and the binding layer share a second common warp.
Body Support Cushion With Ventilation System
A body support cushion is provided with layered foam which receives airflow and allows passage in predefined areas through the body support cushion. Additionally, a cover is provided including a spacer fabric that allows air movement from the body support cushion to improve ventilation of the user of the cushion.
RADIO FREQUENCY WELDING TECHNIQUES TO EMBOSS GRAPHICS ON A TICKING MATERIAL
A system comprising a patient support surface including a core, a ticking covering the core, a RF welding equipment, and a die are used to emboss a layer of an embossing substrate to a surface of the ticking to form a 3-dimensional structure determined by the die. The ticking has a first surface that faces away from the core and a second surface that faces towards the core, and the 3-dimensional structure is formed on the second surface.
