MATTRESS AND METHOD FOR RECEIVING ORDER FOR MATTRESS
A mattress in which a vibration is unlikely to be transmitted between different cushion members is provided. The mattress includes a mattress cushion on which a plurality of persons can lie in a left/right direction, the mattress cushion includes a plurality of cushion members that can be separated in the left/right direction, each of the cushion members is formed with a filament three-dimensional bonded member that includes a plurality of filaments, and includes a contact surface that is in contact with another cushion member adjacent to the cushion member and ends of the filaments of the cushion member do not enter the other cushion member adjacent to the cushion member.
MATTRESS ASSEMBLY WITH REDUCED HEAT INDEX
Mattress assemblies that provide reduced heat index during use include a moisture management layer, a thermally conductive layer and an underlying spacer layer and in direct contact with the thermally conductive layer. Optionally, the thermally conductive foam layer can be perforated and sandwiched between two high air flow layers having an air flow of at least 6 ft3/min. In some embodiments, the perforated thermally conductive layer can include slits connecting adjacent perforations in a linear direction, e.g., along length dimension of mattress assembly or along width dimension of mattress assembly, which act as expansion cuts to provide greater air flow and heat dissipation. Also, disclosed are processes for reducing the heat index in a mattress assembly.
Three-dimensional net-like structure
By taking into account the difficulty in smoothly bending along the shape of, for example, a care bed, there is provided a three-dimensional net-like structure made from polyethylene having a swelling ratio dependent on a shear rate such as to be 0.93 to 1.16 at a shear rate of 24.3 sec.sup.1 and 1.15 to 1.34 at a shear rate of 608 sec.sup.1 and having an MFR of 3 to 35 g/10 min and a density of 0.82 to 0.95 g/cm.sup.3 and configured to have a spring structure of filaments randomly brought into contact with and tangled with one another, have a three-dimensional striped sparse-dense configuration in a lateral direction relative to an extrusion direction. The swelling ratio is shown as D.sub.2/D.sub.1 against shear rate when a molten thermoplastic resin is extruded to filaments from a capillary having a tube inner diameter D.sub.1 of 1.0 mm and a length of 10 mm and D.sub.2 denotes a diameter of cross section of the filaments extruded and cooled down.
Three-dimensional net-like structure
By taking into account the difficulty in smoothly bending along the shape of, for example, a care bed, there is provided a three-dimensional net-like structure made from polyester having a swelling ratio dependent on a shear rate such as to be 1.10 to 1.38 at a shear rate of 60.8 sec.sup.1 and 1.17 to 1.43 at a shear rate of 608 sec.sup.1 and having an MFR of 3 to 35 g/10 min and a density of 1.01 to 1.60 g/cm.sup.3 and configured to have a spring structure of filaments randomly brought into contact with and tangled with one another, have a three-dimensional striped sparse-dense configuration in a lateral direction relative to an extrusion direction.
Multi-layered support system
In various embodiments, a support system includes a multi-layer support system with a number of layers. Systems and methods of removing moisture vapor from an environment surrounding patient are disclosed that accomplish such removal without the use of powered air-movers.
Seat with ventilative property
To provide a seat with ventilative property, which can eliminate or minimize the possibility of its being permanently deformed and settled into an unrecoverable deformed state. In the seat with ventilative property, left and right three-dimensional network cushion elements are provided in a forwardly-facing region of a seat cushion of the seat, in a manner independent of each other, such that the left and right three-dimensional network cushion elements are respectively situated at: one location on which a left thigh portion of a seat occupant is to be contacted; and the other location on which a right thigh portion of the seat occupant is to be contacted. This arrangement can almost completely prevent a direct application of a weight of the seat occupant to the two three-dimensional network cushion elements. Therefore, the present invention has the effect that a permanent downward settling of the seat cushion SC can be prevented, so that a short life of the seat due to such permanent settling may be substantially avoided.
CUSHION AND SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A cushion and system and method of manufacturing a cushion. The cushion includes a layer that is disposed on a side of a filament mesh structure that comprises a set of filaments. Each member of the set of filaments is looped and bonded to at least one other member of the set of filaments. The layer is bonded to at least some members of the set of filaments.
MESH SEAT FOR CHAIRS WITH EASY INSTALLATION OF MESH FABRIC AND CHAIR INCLUDING THE SAME
Provided is a mesh seat for chairs with easy installation of a mesh fabric, Particularly, provide is a seat for chairs with easy installation of a mesh fabric, in which the mesh fabric may be easily installed while tension of the mesh fabric is increased by horizontal fitting of a seat front bar to a seat frame.
Deployable seat cover
A deployable seat cover for a vehicular seat having a back rest and a seat cushion includes an outer envelope for accommodating a folded or rolled seat protector sheet therein. The seat protector is secured to the outer envelope, and the outer envelope includes a lower opening though which the seat protector sheet can be deployed. At least one attachment arrangement is secured to an upper portion of the outer envelope for securing the seat cover to the vehicular seat. The deployable seat cover further includes at least one elongate pull member including a fixed end secured to the outer envelope, and a free end extending outside of the outer envelope. The pull member substantially encircles at least an upper portion of the folded or rolled seat protector sheet when accommodated within the outer envelope. The seat protector sheet is deployed from the outer envelope when a pulling force is applied to the free end of the pull member forcing the seat protector sheet out of the lower opening of the outer envelope.
BACKREST PILLOW
A pillow is provided that includes a back section having opposite front and back surfaces that each extend between opposite top and bottom surfaces. The surfaces each extend between opposite first and second side surfaces. The pillow includes spaced apart first and second arms that each extend outwardly from the front surface. The first arm has an inner surface and an opposite outer surface that is continuous with the first side surface. The second arm has an inner surface and an opposite outer surface that is continuous with the second side surface. The inner surfaces are continuous with the front surface. The top surface and the side surfaces each include a first portion comprising a first material and a second portion comprising a second material that is different from the first material.
