20260001147 · 2026-01-01 ·

A twist drill with long life and easy cutting, is provided with a vertical discharge chute on a major cutting edge. The cutting part of the twist drill comprises a major cutting edge, a side cutting edge, discharge chutes and a back chute ridge, the left side of the major cutting edge is provided with the side cutting edge, the discharge chutes comprise a vertical discharge chute and a horizontal discharge chute, the vertical discharge chute is arranged on the major cutting edge, the horizontal discharge chute is arranged on the side cutting edge, the horizontal discharge chute and the vertical discharge chute are interconnected, the fluting angle of the vertical discharge chute is perpendicular to the edge of the back chute ridge, and a horizontal discharge chute is added on the side of the major cutting edge, which is originally provided with a discharge chute at the drill tip.

Drill

A drill has a helical flute surface, a flank face, and a thinning face. A ridgeline between the thinning face and the flank face constitutes a thinning cutting edge. The thinning cutting edge has a curved thinning cutting edge portion and a straight thinning cutting edge portion. The curved thinning cutting edge portion protrudes forward in the rotation direction. The straight thinning cutting edge portion is contiguous to the curved thinning cutting edge portion. The curved thinning cutting edge portion has a first end portion and a second end portion. The first end portion is a boundary between the curved thinning cutting edge portion and the straight thinning cutting edge portion.

Drill

A chip discharging flute is formed in a tip outer peripheral portion of a drill body rotated around an axis in a drill rotation direction. A cutting edge is formed in an intersection ridgeline portion between a wall surface of the chip discharging flute facing the drill rotation direction and a tip flank. The cutting edge includes a main cutting edge portion extending from an inner peripheral side toward an outer peripheral side of the drill body, and a cutting edge shoulder portion extending from an outer peripheral end of the main cutting edge portion to an outer periphery of the drill body, and is subjected to honing. Compared to the outer peripheral end of the main cutting edge portion, in an outer peripheral end of the cutting edge shoulder portion, a true rake angle is increased on a negative rake angle side, and a size of the honing decreases.

A rotary tool may include a base. The base may be extended from a first end to a second end. The base may include a first part and a second part. The first part may include the first end. The second part may have a larger outer diameter than the first part. The first part may include a first flute. The second part may include a second flute. In a first cross section of the first part, the first flute may include a first bottom part. A center of a first imaginary circle overlapping with the first bottom part may be located outside a circumscribed circle of the first part. In a second cross section of the second part, the second flute may include a second bottom part. A center of the second imaginary circle overlapping with the second bottom part may be located inside a circumscribed circle of the second part.

MASONRY DRILL HEAD

A masonry drill head is made from a sintered cemented carbide. The masonry drill head has an at least section-wise planar joining end for heat induced joining to a shaft, a working end for shattering masonry material under a percussive motion, at least two conveying webs each emerging from the joining end and at least two conveying grooves each extending between two of the conveying webs. A cross-sectional solid material area of the masonry drill head increases towards the joining end, such that a masonry material debris intake of at least one of the conveying grooves increases towards the working end.
