Tool retainer
A tool retainer is provided. The tool has a retainer sleeve having a longitudinal external tab to engage with an internal recessed radial groove with a tool holder, and wherein the retainer sleeve has two internal radial tabs that engage with a recessed groove in a rotating tool shank. A cutting tool assembly including a cutting bit and the retainer sleeve is provided.
POSITIONING DEVICE
A positioning device for positioning a tool holder (12, 14, 16, 18) on a tool turret (6) of a machine tool by means of positioning pins (10), which are secured to the tool turret (6) and which engage with receptacles (40) on the tool holder (6) when the tool holder (12, 14, 16, 18) is attached to the tool turret (6), is characterized in that at least one of the receptacles of the tool holder (6) is formed by a sleeve (40), with which the assignable positioning pin (10) engages in the mounted state while contacting the inner circumferential surface (58) of the sleeve (40), and in that the inner circumferential surface (58) is part of an expanding part (56), which, when the pin (10) engages, expands elastically and flexibly away from the pin (10).
Drill, drilling unit, and drilling method
According to one implementation, a drill includes: a drill includes: a body without a back taper; and a cutting edge part integrated with the body. The body has a flow path of a cutting oil inside. The cuffing edge part has a first supply port that supplies the cutting oil toward a workpiece, The body has at least one second supply port that supplies the cutting oil to a clearance formed between a bush for positioning and the body. The bush is used by being inserted in the body.
DRILL CHUCK
A drill chuck having a chuck body connectable to a drill spindle, in which clamping jaws are arranged in guide receptacles which run at an incline to the chuck axis and, for the purpose of opening and closing, are adjustable by a threaded ring arranged so as to be rotatable and axially immovable with respect to the chuck body. A locking device, which is made up of a coaxial circle of locking recesses and of at least one locking member, is engaged with the locking recesses under the force of a locking spring. A locking adjusting, is rotatable to a limited extent between end stops and whose rotation allows the locking member to be adjusted. A latching device forms two latching positions in the circumferential direction. A dampener is arranged between the adjusting sleeve and the component adjacent thereto radially to the inside.
Tool holder having anti-vibration arrangement and coolant channel, and cutting tool provided with tool holder
An elongated tool holder includes a mass housing portion having a housing peripheral surface, an outer sleeve having a sleeve hole wall surface, and an anti-vibration arrangement. An elongated groove is formed in one of the housing peripheral surface and the sleeve hole wall surface. In an assembled state of the tool holder, the groove, which is located at a common interface of the housing peripheral surface and the sleeve hole wall surface, forms a groove coolant channel. The groove coolant channel forms part of an overall tool holder coolant channel which is spaced apart from the anti-vibration arrangement, and thus isolates the coolant from the anti-vibration arrangement. A cutting tool incorporates the tool holder.
TOOL HOLDER, ROTATION TOOL, AND COMBINATION OF TOOL HOLDER AND TOOL
A tool holder has a base element, a deformable receiver for clamping a tool and at least one locking element configured for preventing an axial extraction of the tool from the tool holder through engaging a corresponding opposite element at the tool. The at least one locking element is integrally configured in one piece with the receiver.
Tool holder and clamping system
A tool holder with a main part, a deformable receiving portion for clamping a tool, and at least one blocking element which is designed to engage into a corresponding counter element on the tool in order to prevent the tool from moving axially out of the tool holder. The at least one blocking element is integrally formed with the receiving portion. A clamping system having such a tool holder and a method for producing a receiving portion for such a tool holder are also described.
BUSHING ASSEMBLY
A cutting machine for machining a bar stock that includes at least one cutting tool, a headstock, and a bushing assembly connected to the headstock. The bushing assembly includes a guide member that includes a body having at least one bore therein and at least one guide mating feature. The bushing assembly further includes a sleeve removably inserted within the at least one bore of the body of the guide member. The sleeve includes a body having a bore therein and at least one sleeve mating feature. The bore of the sleeve is configured for supporting and holding the bar stock. The at least one sleeve mating feature is engaged with the at least one guide mating feature for retaining the sleeve within the guide member.
Counter bearing for machining spindles of machine tools and method for clamping counter bearings and tools
A counter bearing for machining spindles of machine tools has at least one expansion bushing with an elastically deformable wall that delimits at least one pressure chamber. The pressure chamber accommodates a pressure medium. A supply line for the pressure medium opens into the pressure chamber. A pressure conduit opens into the pressure chamber. A mechanically actuatable pressure element is disposed in the pressure conduit and actuated by an actuating tool. A piston is slidably arranged in the pressure conduit and actuated by the pressure element, wherein the piston loads the pressure medium.
CUTTER HOLDER STRUCTURE
A cutter holder structure comprises a cutter arbor and a connecting shaft having a tapered section at one end thereof. One end of the tapered section is formed with a first inner screw hole, and another end of the tapered section is formed with a second inner screw hole. The connecting shaft further has a horizontal positioning hole that penetrates through the connecting shaft. Two ends of the positioning hole are formed with cylindrical holes. A reduced hole is defined between the cylindrical holes. A nut has a third inner screw hole at one end and an axial hole at another end. The nut further has a horizontal countersink hole and a horizontal fourth inner screw hole. An eccentric distance is defined between a center of the countersink hole and a center of the fourth inner screw hole. A screw is inserted through the countersink hole and locked into the fourth inner screw hole.
