An adjusting mechanism includes a first engaging component, a second engaging component and a third engaging component is applied to a child carrier including a supporting component and a seating component. The first engaging component is detachably disposed on the supporting component. The second engaging component is disposed on the seating component. The third engaging component is movably located between the first engaging component and the second engaging component in a switchable manner. The second engaging component drives the third engaging component to move between a first position and a second position. The third engaging component moves to the first position to engage with the first engaging component so as to constrain relative movement between the seating component and the supporting component. The third engaging component moves to the second position to be separated from the first engaging component and the seating component can rotate relative to the supporting component.

A collapsible convertible highchair and infant carrier stand device is provided. It includes basket and a base supporting the basket. The basket is configured to receive an infant carrier or to directly support a seated infant. The basket includes a bottom wall, a first end wall, a pair of sidewalls, a second end wall, a crotch panel and a back support panel. The crotch panel and the back support panel are located in the basket between the first and second end walls. Each is configured to be pivoted from a stowed position, when the device is holding an infant carrier, to an operative position when the device is directly supporting the infant. In the operative position the infant's back will rest against the back support panel and his/her legs will extend through opening in the crotch panel and a window in the first end wall.

A portable booster seat for supporting a child on a chair having a retractable clamping arm that is extendable to an underside surface of a chair seat and selectively moveable to clamp the booster seat to the chair.

A child seat having a coupling element mountable to a free-standing base and mountable to a supportable base is disclosed. The free-standing base includes a bench and at least one leg extending from the bench. The supportable base includes a support mechanism for coupling the supportable base to a support structure. An adjustable highchair. The adjustable highchair includes attachments for seating multiple children simultaneously for convenience when seating multiple children for feeding or other activities. An interchangeable chair assembly is attachable to a height adjustable stem. Each chair assembly includes one or more seats that support a child.

The convertible child high-chair and step stool can include a frame having a front leg stand and a rear leg stand. A height adjustment mechanism can be coupled to the front leg stand or the rear leg stand and can be adjustable along the vertical axis of the front leg stand or the rear leg stand from a raised position to a lowered position. The apparatus can also include a booster seat and removable platform step. In the raised position, the booster seat can be coupled to the height adjustment mechanism to provide a high chair. In the lowered position, the booster seat can be removed and the removable platform step can be coupled to the height adjustment mechanism and the frame to provide a step stool. A supportive cushion and restraint for an infant or young child in a shopping cart seat which includes an upper cushioned body that provides torso and back support by including a rigid plastic sheet insert located posterior and parallel to compressed polyester padding; and is hinged at a horizontal seam to a lower cushioned body (the seat portion), which encloses compressed polyester padding; a wide belt that secures by hook and loop type fasteners and extends from the upper cushioned body, wrapping forward around the torso, securing the child in place and adjusting to most girths; the upper and lower cushioned bodies are enclosed in the same durable fabric as the wide belt; two pairs of heavy duty strap-and-buckle units extend from the upper cushioned body, providing the means to secure the upper cushioned body to the shopping cart seat, and ensuring proper support and comfortable restraint of the child.

A foldable seat frame for attachment to a table surface for supporting a young child. The frame comprises a pivotally a pair of members coupled in an X-shape. Contact members are provided on adjacent opposing ends of the frame members on a first side of the pivot connection configured for adjacent contact with top and bottom surfaces of the table. Lower contact members positioned adjacent to the bottom surface are movable between a first position generally parallel to the table surface and second position slightly over-center of a generally perpendicular alignment to the table surface. When the lower contact members are in the first position, the seat frame may be easily detached from a table having downardly extending a peripheral skirt structure without requiring large pivoting movement of the frame. When the lower contact members are in the second position, they extend upwardly toward the lower table surface to reduce the degree of frame pivoting movement necessary to clamp the frame to the table. A tension device is connected between adjacent opposing ends of the frame disposed on the opposite side of the pivot connection to draw the opposing ends toward each other which coincidentally draws the contact members closer and thereby enables the table to be clamped therebetween.

A child seat includes a seat portion, a backrest frame and a front guard respectively connected pivotally with the seat portion, a latch connected with the seat portion, and a linking part respectively coupled to the latch and the backrest frame. The latch is operable to lock the front guard in position, wherein the latch is engaged with the front guard for locking the front guard and disengaged from the front guard for unlocking the front guard. The linking part is pivotally connected with the backrest frame, and the backrest frame is rotatable to cause the latch to unlock for rotation of the front guard.
