CHIP-REMOVING TOOL FOR DEBURRING BORES
A chip-removing tool for deburring bores, which laterally open into a cylindrical recess for example, comprising a shaft; a cutting head with at least one cutting wedge on the circumference, said cutting wedge being paired with a flute and having a cutter, which extends in an axial direction at least in some sections, carries out a cutting process on the basis of a relative movement between the tool and a workpiece, and lies on a virtual cylindrical rotational surface with a diameter that corresponds to the nominal diameter of the chip-removing tool, and at least one cutting wedge- and flute-free surface region; at least one fluid channel closed on the cutting head side and extending through the shaft and into the cutting head; and at least one puncture channel which starts from the fluid channel and comprises an opening that lies in the cutting wedge- and flute-free surface region.
MICRO-GRIPPER WITH ONE-PIECE STRUCTURE
The micro-gripper includes a support (301) to which are articulated fingers (304) and an actuating diaphragm (305), adjusting the spacing of the fingers (304). The support being circular, the fingers (304) may be arranged in any number around it, and the diaphragm (305) delimits a chamber with the support (301) assembled to an equipment (18) for distributing fluids, the pressure of which elastically deforms the diaphragm (305) and controls a simultaneous movement of variations in spacings of the fingers (304).
If the diaphragm is conical and the fingers link up all around, an independence of the movements of the fingers remains, which is invaluable for correctly gripping objects and avoiding excessive efforts.
Application to the gripping of objects, which can be very small and fragile, with a determined and moderate force.
BORING BAR ACTUATABLE BY A CENTRIFUGAL FORCE
An actuatable boring bar is configured to place a cutting insert cartridge received onto the boring bar in a cutting position when the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the boring bar about the rotation axis reaches a centrifugal force threshold and in a non-cutting position when the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the boring bar about the rotation axis is below the centrifugal force threshold. The boring bar is further configured so that the cutting insert cartridge can be set-up onto the boring bar in the cutting position.
CUTTING TOOL HOLDING MECHANISM, CUTTING TOOL HOLDER AND MACHINE TOOL SYSTEM
A cutting tool holding mechanism for detachably holding a cutting tool includes: a collet chuck configured to clamp and unclamp the cutting tool; a piston disposed deeper on the proximal side of the spindle than the collet chuck and configured to urge the collet chuck by the pressure of a fluid supplied from the proximal side of the spindle in the direction from the proximal side toward the distal end side of the spindle so that the collet chuck unclamps the cutting tool; a spool valve provided in the piston and configured to open thanks to centrifugal force at the time when the spindle is turned, so as to supply the fluid fed from the spindle side to the cutting tool.
Machining tool comprising a generator assembly for harvesting electric energy and a method for such harvesting
A machining tool for chip-removing machining includes a tool body and a generator assembly for harvesting electric energy to be used in the tool. At least one first component is secured to the tool body and a second component is movably connected to the tool body so as to, by moving with respect to the first component through interaction therewith, generate electric energy in the first component. The generator assembly includes an arrangement for conducting a medium flow to hit and act upon the second component for moving it with respect to the first component.
ROTATION TOOL HAVING FUNCTION OF FIXING WORKPIECE
A rotation tool is mounted to a spindle of a machine tool. The rotation tool comprises a cutter holding portion to which blade portion is fixed and a fixing device which fixes a workpiece. The blade portion is disposed at a tip end of the cutter holding portion. The fixing device includes a movement portion formed to be movable in the interior of the cutter holding portion and a pressing device which presses the movement portion to a side toward the workpiece. The fixing device includes a shaft portion rotatably supported relative to the movement portion and a pressing portion which presses the workpiece.
Tool holder with measuring apparatus
A tool holder is configured for rotation about a tool holder axis of rotation defining an axial direction. The tool holder, at one axial longitudinal end thereof, has a tool section with a tool-receiving formation for receiving a tool and, at the opposite axial longitudinal end, has a coupling section with a coupling formation for torque-transmitting coupling to a machine spindle of a machine tool. A measuring apparatus is configured for acquiring data relating to the operation of the tool holder. The measuring apparatus has a sensor, in particular an acceleration sensor, with at least two measurement axes. The two measurement axes are oriented substantially radially with respect to the tool holder axis of rotation.
Pressure-medium-controlled countersinking tool with blade centering
Pressure-medium-controlled countersinking tool with one or more machining blades which are arranged in a rotatably driven base body and which can be actuated in their pivot position by supplying a pressure medium, wherein the actuation of the at least one blade takes place via at least one piston-cylinder unit actuated by the pressure medium, wherein the at least one blade is pivotably mounted on a bearing bolt forming a pivot axis and can be extended from a blade chamber arranged in the blade housing, wherein a centering device is arranged between the blade and the blade window of the base body in the radial distance from the pivot axis and in the pivot range of the at least one blade.
