Cut-out tool
A cutting guide system used with a rotary cutting tool to cut a sink drain fitting in a sink includes a cylindrical sink collar having an open lower end with a radially-projecting lower edge. A cylindrical tool engagement collar at an open top end engages the rotary cutting tool, and at an outside surface engages an inner wall of the cylindrical sink collar. A rotary shaft engages a rotary tool chuck at a proximal end and has at a distal end a rotary blade mount for a generally circular rotary blade. With the tool engagement collar fixed with the rotary cutting tool, and with the sink collar fixed with the tool engagement collar, the rotary cutting tool is inserted into the sink drain fitting to cut through the sink drain fitting in a circular path. Spark arresters, a garbage disposable support stand, and a debris-catching bowl are further included.
Pipeline weld repairing method and apparatus
A method for repairing a defective circumferential weld joint between two pipe sections in a pipeline is described. A weld excavation machine is used to remove a weld defect. The machine comprises a weld excavating tool and a tool guiding apparatus. The machine may be modular in form allowing the machine to be dissembled into discrete portable parts. The method includes arranging the tool guiding apparatus in fixed relation to the pipeline, guiding the weld excavating tool around the pipe and along the weld joint by means of the tool guiding apparatus and using the weld excavating tool to remove material from the defective weld region. An excavation may thus be formed having parallel vertical walls. The excavation is then filled with weld material by means of a welding apparatus.

MILLING ADAPTER FOR A WORK TABLE
The invention relates to an interchangeable milling adapter (20) for a work table (60), which comprises a receptacle (21) for a milling machine (70) and an angular adjustment (22). At the same time, an angular position (WP1, WP2) of the receptacle (21) in relation to the work table can be adjusted using the angular adjustment (22). Furthermore, a work table, a milling unit and their use for adjusting a milling machine are described.
Improvements to router apparatus
A router power tool having a housing and a base, the housing mounted to be moveable with respect to the base. The base and housing are connected by first and second extendable assemblies, at least one of the assemblies including biasing means to bias the housing away from the base. This extendable assembly has a control portion which can be moved, while located with the extendable assembly, from a first position in which the biasing means provides the biasing force and a second position in which the biasing means is released. In one embodiment, the router power tool includes safety stop portions to prevent movement of the tool holder while cutting tool changing is being performed. In another embodiment, a safety stop portion limits movement of at least one of the extendable assemblies when the cover is held by the power switch when in the on position.
Indexable plenum
An indexable plenum and a method of using the plenum to collect dust and/or debris during a cutting or milling process are disclosed. The plenum, when attached to the spindle nose of a conventional machine, enables the conventional machine that does not have a hollow spindle nose to be used with a hollow or conventional solid cutter to remove dust and/or debris generated during the cutting process. The indexable plenum comprises a hollow body and a base plate. Hollow bodies of different shape and size that are able to fit differently shaped and sized cutters are disclosed. The hollow bodies can be designed to releasably engage with the same base plate such that when the base plate is attached to the machine spindle nose, hollow bodies can be exchanged during a milling or cutting process to accommodate correspondingly shaped/sized cutters. In various embodiments, the object that is cut or milled is low density foam.
Router
A router includes a housing and a motor assembly disposed within the housing. The motor assembly includes a driven shaft having a cavity on a first end of the driven shaft. The router includes a collet that is configured to mate into the cavity of the driven shaft with the collet being configured to grip a shank of a router bit. The router includes a gear mechanism that is configured to couple and decouple from a second end of the driven shaft such that a rotation of the gear mechanism when the gear mechanism is coupled to the second end of the driven shaft causes at least one of tightening and loosening of the collet.

GUIDE FOR A BURR CUTTER
A guide 2 for a burr cutter 34, the guide 2 comprising: a body portion 4 having first and second guide surfaces 12a, 12b which are spaced from one another to define a slot 14 between the first and second guide surfaces 12a, 12b; a bearing 32a, 32b for rotatably mounting the body portion 4 to a shank 38 of the burr cutter 34 with a cutting head 36 of the burr cutter 34 adjacent the slot 14; wherein the first and second guide surfaces 12a, 12b and the bearing 32a, 32b are positioned relative to one another such that the first and second guide surfaces 12a, 12b are tangential to the cutting head 36 of the burr cutter 34.
Portable rail system for mounting an engraving device
A portable rail system for mounting an engraving device includes rails and crossbar members that are precisely joined, and include height adjustment devices for incrementally adjusting the height of the rail system relative to a work surface or contact surface, thus making the portable rail system capable of being assembled and disassembled at a work site to enable the use of an engraving device, such as a CNC router engraving systems, in situ, or on-site, rather than in a workshop. The portable rail system enables the use of a CNC router device or other engraving device on vertical surfaces.
