METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING COMPONENT, PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND COMPONENT
20210323081 · 2021-10-21 ·

The present invention is to eliminate formation of a shape that induces reduction of fatigue strength, without forming a step part, in a shape portion formed by machining. This processing apparatus includes end mills having bottom blades formed in a curved convex shape, and arcuately formed radial blades provided in corner areas; a drive section for driving the end mills; and a control unit for controlling the drive unit. The control unit includes a planar-shape-formation unit that controls the drive unit so as to form, in a workpiece, only a planar-shape portion adjacent to a fillet shape portion in such a manner that a portion of the shape to be processed corresponding to the fillet shape portion is left unprocessed; and a fillet formation unit that controls the drive unit so as to form the fillet shape portion in the workpiece in a single pass using the radial blades.

Variable-Frequency Ultrasonic Machining System For Computer Numerical Control Milling Machine
20210299901 · 2021-09-30 ·

A variable-frequency ultrasonic machining system for a computer numerical control milling machine including a cutting force detection unit, a temperature sensing unit and a processor. The processor receives sensing signals of the cutting force detection unit and the temperature sensing unit, processes the received sensing signals according to a set program, and sends control signals to an ultrasonic drive power supply and a corresponding servo motor, respectively. By adjusting the ultrasonic vibration frequency or the frequency of the frequency converter of the CNC milling machine in the machining process, the system ensures the continuity of ultrasonic-assisted milling of a part with a complex curved surface in case of uneven cutting allowance, and improves efficiency of ultrasonic machining.

Spring package for a vibration welding device and respective vibration welding device

A spring package for a vibration welding device includes a first longitudinal bar for a fixed connection to a frame of the vibration welding device and a second longitudinal bar parallel to and movable with respect to the first longitudinal bar as well as for connection to a tool. A first axis of the spring package extends halfway between and parallel to the longitudinal axis of the first and second longitudinal bar. A plurality of leaf springs are further provided, each connected with a first end to the first longitudinal bar and with a second end to the second longitudinal bar, wherein a second axis of the spring package extends perpendicular to the first axis as well as, in an inactive state of the spring package, parallel to the plurality of leaf springs so that a spring center line extends, in an inactive state of the spring package, parallel to the second axis in the middle of the leaf spring. Each of the plurality of leaf springs includes a first portion adjacent to the first and/or second longitudinal bar, the first portion consisting of at least one radius so that the first portion is formed concave with respect to the spring center line. The first portion transitions continuously into a second portion which is formed convex with respect to the spring center line, and the second portion transitions continuously into a center portion adjacently arranged relative to the first axis so that a thickness of the respective leaf spring is at the lowest in the center portion, especially at the first axis.

System and Method of Removing Excess Material From a Dental Appliance
20210236250 · 2021-08-05 ·

A system and a method allow for the removal of excess material from a dental appliance. The system includes at least one 5-axis computer numerical control (CNC) machine and at least one administrative computing system. The administrative computing system is used to determine the trim line for the dental appliance. The administrative computing system is also used to determine a tool path for an automated tool that is an integrated part of the 5-axis CNC machine. The tool path is then relayed from the administrative computing system to the 5-axis CNC machine. The 5-axis CNC machine is used to machine off the excess material from the dental appliance along the trim line, while the automated tool follows the tool path.
