A rectangular, infant crib which can convert into various configurations, especially to allow for a parent to co-sleep with an infant, wherein the front wall is capable of folding downwards to a horizontal position and has a plurality of legs on the outer side of the front wall that are capable of folding down in a manner to support the front wall in the horizontal position.

Child accommodating apparatus

A child accommodating apparatus is provided and includes a frame and an armrest tube. The armrest tube is rotatably connected with the frame. The armrest rotating mechanism is for rotating the armrest tube. The armrest rotating mechanism includes an engagement device and an operation device. The engagement device is disposed between the armrest tube and the frame and for positioning the armrest tube relative to the frame. The operation device is disposed on the armrest tube and connected with the engagement device. The operation device includes a housing coaxially and rotatably sleeved on the armrest tube and rotatable relative to the armrest tube. When the housing of the operation device is operated to rotate relative to the armrest tube, a rotating movement of the housing of the operation device drives the engagement device to disengage the armrest tube from the frame.

Bassinet

The invention may telescopically connect the first support member and the second support member together or pivotally connect the first support member to the pivot hub on the bassinet, such that the bassinet can be adjusted to various heights for a given situation. Furthermore, the bassinet may be adjusted to a desired height and then placed in a play yard without requiring additional components. Since the bassinet of the invention can be used alone and can also be used with the play yard, the bassinet of the invention is more flexible in use than a conventional bassinet.

BASSINET

A bassinet includes a base, a column assembly rotatably connected to the base at a first end of the column assembly, an arm rotatably connected to a second end of the column assembly, a tub frame pivotably connected to the arm, an infant tub retained within the tub frame, the infant tub including a front wall, a back wall, and two side walls and having areas of reduced height along the front wall and at least one of the side walls to provide enhanced access to the infant located within the infant tub, and an insert configured to reversibly fit within an interior of the infant tub.

A support frame is provided between a bottom portion of the connecting rod of the left support mechanism and a bottom portion of the connecting rod of the right support mechanism.

The support rod is provided with a bottom portion connected to a top portion of the base and an upper portion nested in a lower portion of the sleeve rod. The sleeping basket is provided between the sleeve rod of the left support portion and the sleeve rod of the right support portion. An outer side of a bottom portion of the sleeve rod is provided with a double-lock assembly. The double-lock assembly includes a mounting portion, a pulling portion and a pressing portion. The mounting portion is connected to the sleeve rod. The pulling portion and the pressing portion are arranged on the mounting portion, and the pulling portion is located above the pressing portion.

Apparatus and method for furniture with adjustable platform height and membrane sidewalls

A method and corresponding apparatus that includes: a frame; one or more adjustable-height sidewalls connected to the frame, wherein the sidewalls are selectively raisable; a body support platform; and a membrane that is connected to the frame and extends from the frame over the sidewalls and is configured to support the body support platform within the one or more sidewalls at any selected one of a plurality of different heights.

MOUNTABLE BASSINET

A mountable bassinet is provided. The bassinet is configured to remain in an upright, usable configuration when mounted to a structure, such as a playard. However, when the bassinet is removed from the playard, the bassinet automatically changes configuration to signal to the user that the bassinet should no longer be used (for example, the bassinet should not be used to hold a child while the bassinet is on the ground). For example, this may be accomplished by providing supporting arms on the bassinet that are configured to remain locked while the bassinet is mounted on the playard, but unlock, causing the bassinet to tilt or collapse when the bassinet is removed from the playard.

LEVELING INFANT BED

A leveling infant bed is provided comprising a frame, a support surface, a level attached to the frame configured to indicate whether the support surface is horizontal, and an adjustment mechanism configured to move the frame so that the support surface is horizontal. The level may be a bubble level or an electronic level and is operative to indicate whether the support surface is horizontal within a range of 0+/1 with respect to parallel. The adjustment mechanism can be either manual or automatic. In the case of an automatic mechanism, the motors are responsive to a controller that receives a signal from an electronic level indicating that the support surface is not horizontal. Additionally, the electronic level may feature a lighted display to indicate horizontal. The frame of the leveling infant bed can be a bassinet frame, a crib frame, or a play yard frame.
