Shoulder strap for an infant car seat carrier
20190328153 · 2019-10-31 ·

The invention is directed to a shoulder strap for an infant car seat carrier. The strap provides a large shoulder pad near the upper end, to cushion the weight as it rests on the user's shoulder. The upper and lower ends of the strap terminate in large oval snap hooks. Each snap hook provides a screw nut on each side. One of the screw nuts can only be completely removed with a tool, and therefore operates as a hinge, such that the user may easily attach and remove the strap with one hand. A buckle near the center of the strap allows the user to adjust the length of the strap. In a second embodiment, the upper and lower ends of the strap terminate in inverted V-shaped straps, each of which provides two spring snap hooks which may be secured to the car seat frame on the side surface of the car seat carrier.

The invention relates to a wall (4) of a bedside cot or the like, capable of pivoting from a first upright position to a second, horizontal position; the wall (4) is tapering from its base (5) to its distal edge (9). It is also disclosed a mattress cover (3) and a fitted sheet comprising a cuboid space and a wedge-shaped space connected together along one edge of the cuboid and one edge of the base base of the wedge shaped space.

Crib

Disclosed is a crib that elevates a carriage from the lowered position to height that is user defined. The lifting motion is operated by holding buttons on controls on the unit or a wireless remote; releasing the button stops the motion. While in the elevated position, a sliding door assembly provides access to the inside of the carriage while leaving the underside of the carriage free of obstruction as to permit wheelchair using caretakers to freely pull underneath the elevated carriage. The carriage of the crib includes a mattress support, rear wall, right wall, left wall, and a front wall having a left and right sliding door. A telescoping lifting column is fastened to each of the right wall and left wall. The lifting columns have an electric linear actuator that perform the lifting and lowering operations of the carriage. The lifting columns extend downward and are fastened to feet.

OSCILLATION SYSTEMS

A generic system for enabling resonant oscillations along multiple axes includes a load and an actuator. The load represents a mass or structure that is desired to be oscillated, and is subject to a restoring force by suitable mechanisms upon displacement of the load. The actuator is designed to rotate an eccentric mass about a first axis. Responsive to the rotation of the eccentric mass, the actuator is designed to cause the load to oscillate in the direction of each of a second axis and a third axis.

APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING AN INFANT

An apparatus for soothing an infant, including: a torso support for supporting the torso of an infant in a prone position, the torso support being at an incline to a horizontal plane and having a crotch support provided at a lower end; and securing means for securing the infant to the apparatus, wherein the torso support is shaped to allow the legs of the infant to hang freely from either side of the torso support, and to support the infant's arms.

Depth-adjustable bassinet

A frame is configured to rest on a support surface and an infant-receiving receptacle is supported above the support surface by the frame. The infant-receiving receptacle includes a bottom/floor panel forming a bed for the child to sleep upon and a peripheral sidewall surrounding the bottom panel and extending between the bottom panel and the frame. The bassinet includes a depth-adjustment mechanism that enables a caregiver to selectively adjust the depth of the infant-receiving receptacle by raising or lowering the bottom panel of the infant-receiving receptacle. Various embodiments can also include wheels, rollers, or other mechanisms for rolling, sliding, or gliding the bassinet across the support surface. Some embodiments include a height-adjustment mechanism, downward-recessed front wall, longitudinal-axis folding canopy, inverted-eggcrate bed pad, and/or base-positioned foot rest.

CHILD CONTAINMENT SYSTEM WITH MULTIPLE INFANT SUPPORT MODES

A child containment system has a child containment structure with a bottom and a perimeter wall surrounding the bottom. A bassinet has an infant support surface and a surrounding wall around the infant support surface. The bassinet can be mounted to the child containment structure with the infant support surface elevated above the bottom of the child containment structure. An infant support unit can have a frame, a bed supported by the frame, and legs that extend from one end infant support unit to the distal second end. The infant support unit is configured for use in a first operational mode in which the infant support unit at least partially positioned within the child containment structure with the bed overlying the bassinet's infant support surface, and with a portion of the legs contacting the bassinet's infant support surface.

FOLDABLE SWING FRAME

A foldable swing frame is provided and includes a seat assembly, a lateral support, a joint assembly and a bottom leg assembly. The lateral support is located beside the seat assembly. The seat assembly is assembled with the lateral support. The joint assembly is installed on the lateral support. The bottom leg assembly is for standing the foldable swing frame. The bottom leg assembly is assembled with the joint assembly. The bottom leg assembly is pivotally connected to the lateral support by the joint assembly, and the bottom leg assembly is switchable between a folded position and an unfolded position relative to the lateral support by the joint assembly. One or more embodiments of the foldable swing frame can be folded compactly to reduce an occupied space of the foldable swing frame without detachment of the seat assembly for easy transportation and easy storage.

An infant care apparatus includes a base. A drive mechanism and a vibratory mechanism are coupled to the base. A movable stage is movably mounted to the base. An infant support is coupled to the movable stage. The drive mechanism imparts a first cyclic motion to the movable stage, and imparts a second cyclic motion to at least part of the movable stage independent of the first cyclic motion and to the vibratory mechanism so that the vibration motor vibrates the movable stage. The infant support is coupled to the movable stage and moves cyclically in both the first and second cyclic motions. The controller is configured to move the infant support in a selectably variable motion profile with selectable vibration modes selected from different selectably variable motion profiles and selectably different vibration modes for each of the different selectable variable motion profiles.
