CUTTING MACHINE
A cutting machine includes a holder located below a spindle to hold processing targets, and an adaptor connected to a rotation shaft to rotatably support the holder. The holder includes a first holder fixed to the adaptor and including a pin insertion hole to which a fixing pin attached to a processing target is fixed, and a second holder detachably attached to the first holder and including a pin insertion hole at a position facing the pin insertion hole. The fixing pin extends in a Y-axis direction. In the Y-axis direction, a distance between a processing target fixed to the pin insertion hole and a processing target fixed to the pin insertion hole is shorter than a length of the fixing pin.
Cutting tool assembly
A cutting tool assembly includes a tool body and a tool holder including a longitudinal axis around which the tool holder is configured to spin. The tool holder includes a central portion connected to the tool body comprising a fastener hole perpendicular with the longitudinal axis and configured to receive a securing fastener, wherein the fastener hole is offset from the longitudinal axis. The tool holder further includes an eccentric drive member connected to the cylindrical portion. The tool holder can optionally further include an end alignment cylinder connected to the eccentric drive member.
MILLING CUTTER
A milling cutter includes a milling drum having a body with a first end, a second end, an outer surface extending around a circumference of the body between the first and second ends, and a plurality of slots formed in the outer surface. The plurality of slots arranged in a staggered row between the first end and the second end of the body. The milling cutter also includes a plurality of cutting insert removably secured to the body. Each cutting insert is positioned at least partially within one of the plurality of slots and includes a cutting profile defined by rounded peaks and pointed valleys to cut a tooth form into a saw blade. The plurality of cutting inserts are staggered such that the plurality of cutting inserts are circumferentially offset from each other along a longitudinal axis of the milling drum.
Knife holder and base system for milling machine
The present invention belongs to the technical field of milling machines, and mainly relates to a novel cutter holder and base system for a milling machine. The cutter holder and base system according to the present invention aims to solve the problems in the prior art that a cutter holder structure is unreasonable, the cutting force of a cutter cannot be well dispersed in the cutter holder and a base, so that the service lives of the cutter holder and the base are shortened. The base is provided with a hole-shaped inner area and two curved surface areas, where the two curved surface areas are disposed in a circumferential area of the hole-shaped inner area, the curved surface areas are arranged at an angle, and each curved surface area includes two curved surfaces. The cutter holder improves its own usage performance while a lighter weight is achieved.
Cutting insert, tool holder and tool
A cutting insert, an associated tool holder, and a tool comprising such a cutting insert and such a tool holder. The cutting insert has a base body, which defines a cutting insert longitudinal axis, at least one cutting body, which laterally projects from a periphery of the base body and comprises a cutting edge, and a cutting insert bore, which is provided in the base body and extends along the cutting insert longitudinal axis, wherein on an underside, running transversely to the cutting insert longitudinal axis, of the base body are provided a plurality of elevations, which are arranged distributed in the peripheral direction and protrude from the underside of the base body, so that, between respectively two adjacent elevations, a relative depression is respectively obtained, wherein the cutting insert comprises at least one radial contact surface, a plurality of axial contact surfaces and a plurality of torque transfer surfaces for a bearing contact of the cutting insert against the tool holder.
Rotary cutting blade material and method for manufacturing the same
A rotary cutting blade material has an attaching structure forming portion that is to serve as an attaching portion to the shank, a cutting structure forming portion that is to serve as a cutting blade, and a joint portion. The cutting structure forming portion has a core portion and a surface portion provided on the attaching structure forming portion with the joint portion being interposed, and the surface portion covers at least a part of a surface of the core portion. The attaching structure forming portion includes a hard material including a hard component and one or two or more types of iron group elements, and the hard material has a Young's modulus of not more than 350 GPa. The core portion includes a cemented carbide material, and the surface portion includes PCD or CBN.
Workholding system using quarter turn device
A workholding system includes a quarter turn fastener used in workholding applications to quickly hold and release objects, such as tooling, parts, and plates. In one embodiment, a T-slot fastener facilitates the creation of an entire workholding system that facilitates the rapid installation of studs into receiving members. The compact design also makes possible the ability to insert the quarter turn fastener into a device that can fit into a T-slot and still have considerable holding power. The system is lower in cost than other solutions.
CARTRIDGE AND MILLING TOOL
A purpose is to provide a cartridge that can adjust position even if a body does not have an adjusting mechanism.
A cartridge 10 is provided on a body B of a milling tool. The cartridge 10 is connected to an upper surface 10a, a lower surface 10b, and a first side surface 10c, and a slit 10h that divides the cartridge 10 into a main body part 10j, a thin material portion 10k, and a connecting part 10m that connects the main body part and the thin material portion is formed in the cartridge. Furthermore, a screw hole 10n with second female threads is formed in order for a second male screw that passes through the slit 10h to screw into. Furthermore, wherein the second male screw travels forward, the relative position of the main body part 10j changes with regard to the thin material portion 10k.
Groover with peening flanks
