AGRICULTURAL APPARATUS FOR FORMING FROM A PREVIOUSLY-CUT AGRICULTURAL CROP A WINDROW ON A FIELD AND METHOD THEREOF
20180271021 · 2018-09-27 ·

The disclosure refers to an agricultural apparatus for forming from previously-cut agricultural crop, such as grass or the like, a windrow on a field, which may comprise: a frame, crop engaging elements supported on the frame and configured to form from previously-cut agricultural crop a windrow on a field, and a control unit configured to control operation of the crop engaging elements. The control unit is further configured to provide control signals to the crop engaging elements in such a way that, in a windrow forming mode of operation, the crop engaging elements are driven to engage with the previously-cut agricultural crop, and form from the previously-cut agricultural crop the windrow which may have a snake line form on the field. Further, a method for forming from previously-cut agricultural crop, such as grass or the like, a windrow on a field is also disclosed.

Machine for harvesting fodder

A machine for the harvesting of plants comprises an arm movable between work and transport configuration, a tool comprising lateral ends and being able to occupy a work position and another position, a connecting device via which the tool is connected to the arm and enabling a first movement of the tool relative to the arm, during which the lateral ends move vertically relative to the arm in the same vertical direction relative thereto, the connecting device can operate a second transverse and horizontal movement of the tool relative to the arm and making it possible to operate this second movement independently of the first movement. The connecting device comprises an arm articulated on the support arm about a first transverse and horizontal axis when the support arm is in the work configuration, and this arm can, by pivoting about the first axis, moved vertically relative to the support arm.

Side-delivery rake
10051789 · 2018-08-21 · ·

A side-delivery rake comprising a frame provided with at least a supporting arm to which a plurality of stellar wheels are associated. The supporting arm is pivoted to the frame so as to assume, by means of rotation around a pivoting element, at least a first working operating condition in which the stellar wheels carry out a gathering action, and a second transport operating condition, in which the stellar wheels are in a raised condition. Stop means are provided to determine the position of the supporting arms in the first operating condition. The stop means comprise an adjustment device which can be selectively associated with the frame in a finite plurality of predetermined discrete positions in order to define an adjustment of the position assumed by the supporting arm in the first operating condition.

A merger, with a supporting frame having a longitudinal member and crossmembers, with a wheeled chassis, with a drawbar engaging the supporting frame and via which the merger couples to a tractor, with pickup members for picking up crop, wherein one pickup member is accommodated on a first side of the longitudinal member and another pickup member is accommodated on a second side of the longitudinal member, in each case on a crossmember, with belt conveyors for conveying picked-up crop in a transverse conveying direction running transversely with respect to a longitudinal direction, wherein at least one belt conveyor is accommodated on a first side of the longitudinal member and another belt conveyor is accommodated on a second side of the longitudinal member, on the respective crossmember, wherein the drawbar pivots relative to the supporting frame for transferring the merger between a working position to headland or transport position.

Agricultural raking system and method for automatic settings

A system includes an agricultural raking vehicle, including a motor drive and raking members mechanically coupled to the motor drive. The raking members rake agricultural product via rotation about an axis substantially orthogonal to a field on which the agricultural vehicle travels. The system also includes a sensor assembly that outputs a signal indicative of a determined windrow quality of the agricultural product raked by the raking members. The system also includes a controller communicatively coupled to the motor drive and to the sensor assembly. The controller receives the signal and controls an angular speed of the motor drive, a ground speed of the agricultural vehicle, and/or a height of the raking members or tines above the field, based on a comparison of the determined windrow quality to a target windrow quality.

Windrower Rake
20260000027 · 2026-01-01 ·

A windrower rake consisting of a comb and a rotor having a special configuration that makes it possible to optimise the windrowing system, avoiding material loss and forage entanglement in the rotating areas of the machine, thereby increasing the performance and efficiency of the machine. The comb contains a plurality of teeth arranged along several horizontal bars which, in turn, are mounted on either side on two rotating disks that rotate about a horizontal shaft. The blade rotor is located above and in front of the comb, including a transverse horizontal shaft to which a plurality of teeth, blades or disks distributed along the length thereof, are rigidly connected, partially covered by a casing.

AGRICULTURAL MACHINE WITH SWATH SENSORS

An agricultural machine comprising a swath sensor system. The swath sensor system is configured to detect one or more properties of a swath on an agricultural area traversed by the agricultural machine. The agricultural machine further comprises a swather for swath generation. At least one sensor of the swath sensor system is configured to detect properties of a stream of swath-forming material during or after its processing into a swath by the swather.

Rake apparatus

A rake apparatus is disclosed. The rake apparatus includes a plurality of material gathering members connected to a continuous conveyor member such as a chain or a belt. A drive sprocket supports the conveyor member at a discharge end of the rake apparatus. An idler sprocket supports the conveyor member at a distal end of the rake apparatus. The material gathering members contact a bottom stripper guard and a top stripper guard as they travel about the raking device to remove crop material from the material gathering members. The rake apparatus may be part of a harvesting machine in which the processing chamber of the harvesting machine has a width that is the same width as the pickup device of the harvesting machine.
