CUTTING DEVICE FOR CUTTING FLAT METAL PRODUCTS AND CUTTING SHEAR FOR CUTTING SAID FLAT METAL PRODUCTS EQUIPPED WITH SAID DEVICE
A drum cutting device, e.g., for shears adapted to cut flat metal products advancing along a direction substantially parallel to their direction of longitudinal extension, said device being adapted to cut said flat metal products transversely relative to their direction of advancement, wherein said device comprises at least one drum adapted to be rotated and diametrically delimited by a cylindrical surface containing a blade or knife which partially protrudes from said cylindrical surface, wherein said blade or knife is partially housed in a seat of said drum and extends longitudinally along a direction substantially parallel to the rotation axis of said drum, wherein said device comprises an adjustment wedge also housed at least partially in said seat of said drum, wherein the direction of extension of said wedge is substantially parallel to the rotation axis of said drum and the thickness of said wedge transversely to its direction of extension varies continuously along said direction of extension from a minimum thickness to a maximum thickness, wherein said wedge is positioned relative to said blade or knife so that the translation of said wedge parallel to its direction of extension in a first direction of translation results in a peripheral tangential translation of said blade or knife in a first direction of peripheral tangential translation, while the translation of said wedge in a second direction of translation opposite to the first one results in the peripheral tangential translation of said blade or knife in a second direction of peripheral tangential translation opposite to the first one, said device comprising translation means for the translation of said wedge in said two opposite directions of translation.

ROLLING MILL SUCH AS, FOR EXAMPLE, A COLD ROLLING MILL
A shearing device for fragmenting a metal strip includes two counter-rotating drums facing one another, a drive device connecting the drums and synchronising their rotation speed, and at least one pair of drum-supported blades. The blades engage by shearing effect during drum rotation to cut the waste. The blades of the pair have, from the cutting edge thereof, planar surfaces, referred to as overlapping surfaces, overlapping and facing one another during the shearing between blades, each blade being secured transversely to the drum, at an angle to the axis of rotation of the drum, so the plane through the overlapping surface of the blade forms an angle with the axis of rotation of the corresponding drum, producing gradual shearing. The overlapping surface of each blade is tilted so the plane passing through the overlapping surface does not intersect the rotational axis of the drum on its active width.
Equipment for high speed transversal perforations of variable lengths on continuous forms in movement
Perforating equipment (111) for high speed transversal perforations of variable lengths on a continuous form (32) in movement is disclosed. The perforations are carried out by means of a perforating blade (39a) against a projecting profile (41a) of a blade contrast (39a) and blade and contrast servomechanisms (43, 128) for rotating a support for the blade and the blade contrast. The projecting profile (41a) has sectors with axial extensions different in dependence on their angular positions. The contrast servomechanism (128) is settable for selecting an angular phase of the blade contrast (39a), such to positioning, for the contrast with the blade, a sector of the projecting profile (41a) having axial extension equal to the requested length of the perforation (P). The blade contrast can be constituted by a hollow cylinder (113) rotatable around a support shaft (114) as a radial air bearing of pneumostatic type.
