A cushion for supporting a user relative to a support surface is provided. The cushion has material with sufficient flexibility to deform under a weight of the user and sufficient resilience to return to its original state when the weight is removed. A supporting face contacts the support surface and is characterized by a plurality of points. The supporting face is contoured such that, when the cushion is in an unloaded configuration, a first subset of the plurality of points contact the support surface and a second subset of the plurality of points do not contact the support surface. When a user then sits on the cushion so that it is in a loaded configuration, at least some of the points in the second subset are displaced under the user's weight and contact the support surface. The cushion thus both bends and compresses to distribute the weight of the user.

A mattress and method of constructing the mattress having a reduced toxicity has a cover or an outermost layer including food grade polyethylene. Also, the outer layer of the mattress can also be constructed from a material selected from the same group of materials. Food grade polyethylene films are less toxic materials which reduce adverse human health effects due to the exposure to potentially harmful chemicals used in the mattress construction.

A kit (100) for constructing a support surface (10) for a sleeping person. The kit (100) comprises: an air-permeable layer (20) having at least one pair of opposing layer-edge portions stretchable at least in the direction between the layer-edge portions (11, 12, 13, 14) to form the support surface; at least one pair of parallel opposing frame sections (30, 32, 34, 36) fixedly disposable at a distance therebetween for forming at least a portion of a frame (15) supporting the support surface; at least a first of said frame sections (30, 32, 34, 36) comprising a layer-edge engaging portion (31, 33, 35, 37) configured for fixedly engaging a corresponding layer-edge portion (11, 12, 13, 14); and a tensioning mechanism configured for moving the layer-edge engaging portion (31, 33, 35, 37) together with the layer-edge portion (11, 12, 13, 14) relative to the opposing frame section (30, 32, 34, 36) to at least partially tension the air-permeable layer (20) between the frame sections (30, 32, 34, 36).

An infant support cushion. The infant support cushion may include a substantially flat and firm bottom support surface; a sidewall extending about a periphery of the bottom support surface configured to provide a closed configuration defining a recess; and wherein an overall height of the sidewall does not exceed an overall sidewall height threshold value, an inside angle of the sidewall relative to the bottom support surface exceeds an inside sidewall angle threshold value, and a maximum incline angle as measured from one or more certain positions of a top surface of the bottom support surface and a top surface of the sidewall does not exceed a maximum incline angle threshold value.

A swaddle pillow includes a pillow body having a depression formed into the pillow body at a front of the pillow body. The depression is configured to receive an infant or baby therein, and includes a head section and a body section. A cover is provided over the body section of the protrusion to keep the infant/baby warm, as well as too provide swaddle material that can be lightly compressed towards the infant/baby by one or more swaddle straps.

A mattress seat comprising a mattress seat body configured to receive a mattress thereon, the mattress seat body comprising a plurality of frames disposed sequentially in a circumferential direction of the mattress seat body, at least one of the plurality of frames is movable with respect to the other one of the plurality of frames in the circumferential direction of the mattress seat body to enable a length of the mattress seat body to be adjusted in at least one direction.

The present disclosure relates to a baby crib, including: a crib frame adapted to be placed on a support plane; a mattress arranged on the crib frame; a support component connected to an edge side of the mattress, the support component including a connection side connected to the mattress, an abutting side arranged opposed to the connection side, and a guide portion arranged between the connection side and the abutting side. The support component has a use state and a non-use state. When the support component is in the use state, the guide portion is inclined relative to the support plane, and a position of the connection side is higher than a position of the abutting side. When the support component is in the non-use state, the support component is capable of being stored under the mattress.

A mattress assembly includes a cover having a pocket. A mattress is positioned within the pocket. The mattress includes opposite first and second sides, the first side having a cavity. An insert is positioned within the cavity. Methods of use are disclosed.

A crib mattress cover system includes a crib mattress cover configured to extend over a crib mattress with the top cover extension extending over the top of the crib mattress and having crib mattress attachments, such as hook-and-loop fastener configured in the corners of the top cover extension. A crib sheet is configured to detachably attach to the crib mattress cover via crib sheet attachments, again hook-and-loop fasteners, that are configured on the corners of the inside surface of the crib sheet. The crib sheet may also have cover flaps that are configured to fold over and cover the crib sheet attachments when the crib sheet is not detachably attached to the crib mattress cover.

A baby changing pad is configured for on-device processing of user commands. The baby changing pad includes at least one microphone, at least one speaker, and one or more processors. The at least one microphone captures an audio stream. The one or more processors identify a user command from the audio stream by extracting one or more acoustic features from the audio stream. The one or more processors then generate a response to the user command that is output by the at least one speaker.
