PROFILED METAL FIBER
The profiled metal fibre with a substantially rectangular cross-section, also with bent fibre ends in the form of a clip, is used to stabilise, bond, attach or join materials and construction materials such as concrete, wood, paper and the like. The fibre edges of the fibre outer surfaces extending in the longitudinal direction of the fibre are designed as edge surfaces (2) oriented at an angle to the fibre outer surfaces in the manner of a bevel. The two wider fibre outer surfaces (3.1, 3.2) of the rectangular fibre are provided with V-shaped channels (4) extending in the longitudinal direction, wherein the edge surfaces (2) are provided with projections (6) and the V-shaped channels (4) are provided with end zones (5) that bound their longitudinal extent. The projections form anchoring heads and the end zones form anchor surfaces with respect to the material to be stabilised, bonded or attached.
Force Generator for Generating a Linear Compressive Force
The invention relates to a force generator for generating a linear pressure force, including a housing, an output wedge displaceably arranged in the housing, and a drive wedge for transmitting an externally exerted pressing force into a linear movement of the output wedge. The output wedge is connected to a first pressure element. The housing is connected to a second pressure element. A force applied to the drive wedge causes displacement of the first pressure element relative to the second pressure element. The force generator solves the technical problem of providing a high pressure force and using the known press jaws for this purpose.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING AT LEAST ONE COMPONENT ELEMENT FOR A FURNITURE FITTING
A method for producing a component element for a furniture fitting, in particular a rail, includes the following steps to be carried out in chronological order: providing a planar sheet having a longitudinal extension, two top surfaces and two side surfaces spaced apart by a width of the sheet, as a semifinished product of the component element. The sheet has a wall thickness in the range of 0.5 mm and 1.5 mm, and is formed, preferably by an embossing stamp and/or an embossing roller, on at least one top surface with an indentation. The indentation is arranged transversely, preferably substantially orthogonally, to the longitudinal extension. The sheet is bent such that, in a cross section orthogonal to the longitudinal extension, a profile of the component element arises, and the bent sheet is mechanically separated in the region of the indentation.
CONNECTING ROD MANUFACTURING METHOD AND CONNECTING ROD
A connecting rod manufacturing method includes: forming, in an inner circumferential surface of a through-hole formed at an end of the connecting rod, a plurality of first holes as fracture start portions such that the first holes are arrayed in an axial direction of the through-hole and extend in a first direction; forming a plurality of second holes as the fracture start portions, each between adjacent ones of the first holes, such that the second holes are arrayed in the axial direction and extend in a second direction different from the first direction relative to the first holes; and fracture-splitting the end of the connecting rod into a rod part and a cap part using the fracture start portions as start points.
Apparatus and method for trimming a side of steel plate
A side trimming apparatus including a cutting unit which is installed on at least one side of a steel plate being transferred and trims a side of the steel plate by mechanical cutting and a laser processing unit which is installed in front of the cutting unit and emits a laser beam to a portion of the steel plate to be cut to form a groove at the portion to be cut or preheat the portion to be cut, and a side trimming method using the same are provided.
Articulation Joint Manufacturing Process and Workpiece Therefor
An articulation joint manufacturing process comprises cutting an elongated tube to form a multiplicity of links wherein adjacent links are connected by a bridge. The method comprises forming a fracturable portion on each bridge and connecting a multiplicity of springs to adjacentts links to form a workpiece. The method further comprises applying a torsional force to the workpiece about its longitudinal axis to fracture each bridge to form an articulation joint comprising a series of links wherein adjacent links are connected by at least one spring. Certain steps are formed by a laser. In one method, the springs are positioned on a mandrel and the springs are welded to the workpiece. The fracturable portion on the bridges may be produced by forming an indentation which may be a score, a perforation, an elongated indentation or an oval shaped indentation.
Method of forming fracture start portion of connecting rod and forming device
A method of forming a fracture start portion of a con rod for forming fracture start portions of a con rod at opposing positions in an inner peripheral surface of a large end of the con rod made of metal, includes a first step of forming a groove portion at a position corresponding to the fracture start portion by using a first insert tip with a large tip end and a second step of forming the fracture start portion, which has become a V-shaped groove, by machining a bottom portion of the groove portion smaller by using a second insert tip having a tip end smaller than the first insert tip.
SURGICAL ROD SCORER AND METHOD OF USE OF THE SAME
A surgical rod scorer is provided. The surgical rod scorer includes a pair of elongated shaft members that are pivotably coupled to one another and movable from a spaced-apart configuration to an approximated configuration. Each of the shaft members includes a handle member that is configured for gripping by a user and jaw member that is configured to support respective first and second cutting assemblies thereon. The first and second cutting assemblies each include one or more cutting elements thereon configured and dimensioned to score surgical rod when the jaw members are in the approximated configuration and rotated about the surgical rod.
Apparatus and method for manufacturing magnet segments constituting field pole magnetic body
An apparatus for manufacturing magnet segments constituting a field pole magnetic body formed by cleaving a magnetic body at a plurality of scheduled cleaving parts is provided. The apparatus includes placing tables on which a magnetic body having a coating applied to an outer surface thereof is placed, a pressing unit that cleaves the magnetic body by pressing the magnetic body from an opposite side of an incision at a scheduled cleaving part arranged between two of the placing tables, and a cutting unit that cuts the coaling of the magnetic body present at the scheduled cleaving part after the magnetic body is cleaved, by applying a moment in a direction opposite to a moment generated in the magnetic body between the two placing tables at the time of cleaving. Cleaving divides the magnetic body into a magnet segment and an uncleaved magnetic body.
