In accordance with the subject invention, an infant safety barrier is provided which includes: a first mounting body; a second mounting body; a first stanchion pivotably mounted to the first mounting body so as to be reversibly pivotable between upright and non-upright positions; a second stanchion pivotably mounted to the second mounting body so as to be reversibly pivotable between upright and non-upright positions; and, an elongated flexible barrier a first end secured to the first stanchion and a second end secured to the second stanchion, wherein, with the first and second stanchions being in the upright positions, the flexible barrier is relatively taut between the first and second stanchions. Advantageously, with the subject invention, an infant safety barrier is provided which can be reversibly adjusted between an upright safety position, to restrict an infant's fall from an elevated location, and a non-upright position, allowing access to the infant.

A convertible infant support apparatus for safely supporting an infant. The apparatus includes a base that has a front surface that may be formed of a loop fabric to facilitate attachment of a plurality of pillows thereto in a variety of different configurations. The pillows include a first plurality of pillows that can be arranged along a perimeter portion of the front surface of the base in a closed geometric shape and a second plurality of pillows that can be arranged along an intermediate portion of the front surface of the base in a closed geometric shape. The first plurality of pillows may surround the second plurality of pillows and the second plurality of pillows may surround an exposed central portion of the front surface of the base. The first and second pluralities of pillows may be used on the base together, separately, or in any desired combination.

A cushion including a plush material and formed in a step shape. The step shape includes a rear surface vertically disposed, a bottom surface horizontally disposed, a first L-shaped sidewall vertically disposed, a second L-shaped sidewall vertically disposed, a first front vertical surface extending upward from the bottom surface, a horizontal front surface extending rearward from the first front vertical surface, a second front vertical surface extending upward from the horizontal front surface, and a top horizontal surface extending rearward from the second front vertical surface and adjoining with the rear surface. An infant support pad has a body of resilient material, a generally planar bottom surface and a top surface that is inclined relative to the bottom surface between a proximal end and a distal end of the body such that the infant is in an inclined position when placed on the body. The top surface has an opening in a distal portion of the body and curved surface configured to receive and support at least a portion of an infant's head that extends through the opening when the infant is placed on the body. The support pad also has a pair of raised side members on either side of the top surface configured to generally maintain the infant on the body and inhibit movement of the infant out of the body.
