Method and Apparatus For The Secure Dismantling Of Electronic Data Drives
A method and apparatus for efficiently dismantling hard disk drives, including a holder assembly to clamp a hard disk drive, a scanner that reads identification information of the hard disk drive. A chain conveyor belt indexes the hard disk drive to a position at which a logic board of the hard disk drive is peeled off and dropped into a bin, and to a position at which a lid of the hard disk drive is separated from a housing by way of a wedge, and indexes to a punch position at which magnets are punched in a direction from the logic board side of the hard disk drive. By separating and disposing the logic board and the lid, each hard disk drive is efficiently and securely dismantled.
Shear
A power shear tool includes a housing portion, a motor positioned within the housing portion, and a tool head portion extending from the housing portion and including a blade rotatable relative to the tool head portion. The power shear tool includes a workpiece support member positioned proximate the tool head portion. The workpiece support member includes a top surface and a bottom surface opposite the top surface, side surfaces extending between the top and the bottom surfaces, a first channel defined in the top surface and extending from at least one of the side surfaces, and a second channel defined in the top surface. The second channel intersects the first channel and extends transverse to the first channel.
Apparatus for dismantling a plurality of hard disk drives
APPARATUS FOR DISMANTLING A PLURALITY OF HARD DISK DRIVES
POWER TOOL
A power tool according to the present invention includes a cutting unit that performs a cutting action, and a cutting action input unit for turning the cutting action on and off. The cutting action input unit, when turned on, causes the cutting unit to move in a direction of an end position of the cutting action, and when turned off, causes the cutting unit to stop moving in a case where the cutting action has not ended at a time when the cutting action input unit is turned off, and to move in a direction of a standby position prior to a start of the cutting action in a case where the cutting action has ended at the time when the cutting action input unit is turned off.
PIPE CUTTING MACHINE WITH A CONTROLLED FLOATING CUTTING MANDREL, AND CUTTING METHOD
A pipe cutting machine with a pipe (3), from which a pipe section (3a) is to be cut to size, a stationary cutting die (1), a movable cutting die (2) which can be moved relative to the stationary cutting die (1), and a cutting mandrel (13) which is introduced into the pipe (3) and which comprises a stationary mandrel (14) and a mandrel (16) that can be moved relative to the stationary mandrel (14). The cutting mandrel (13) is arranged in a cutting position during a cutting process, and the cutting mandrel (13) is arranged in the pipe (3) in a floating manner. A magnetic coupling (6) is provided with a coupling stator (7) arranged outside of the pipe (3) and a coupling rotor (21) arranged on the stationary mandrel (14).
CUTTING DEVICE
The present inventions related to a cutting device for use in cutting a collar which is mounted on a bolt in half, the cutting device comprising a mouth (16) for receiving the portion of the collar (28) to be cut; a pair of jaws (17a, 17b) diametrically opposite one another and located within the mouth (16), each jaw (17a, 17b) being provided with a cutting blade (18), a driver (22) for moving at least one jaw (17a) relative to the other (17b) such that the collar (28) can be cut in half by the action of the jaws (17a, 17 b) moving towards one another, and a guard (15) which, in use, prevents the cutting blade (18) from protruding beyond the mouth (16) and damaging a surface adjacent to the collar (28) to be cut in half.
HYDRAULICALLY ACTIVATED CUTTING TOOL
A hydraulically activated cutting tool with first and second pivoting jaws that can pivot around a shared pivot axis is provided. A blade is formed on the first pivoting jaw and a stop is formed on the second pivoting jaw. The blade has a cutting edge that runs in the direction of the pivot axis. A gripping section is formed on the second pivoting jaw and protrudes over a stop surface of the stop in the direction toward the first pivoting jaw. A method for separating an H-tap crimped connection of two cables with a cutting tool is also provided.
HAND-HELD TOOL
A hand-held tool that is prepared for remote control has a handle region, an actuating button, and a removable attachment part held in the handle region. The attachment part has a handling extension and a collar encompassing the handle region. The collar includes first and second collar parts pivotably connected together. The attachment part acts upon the actuating button. The actuating button is displaced into an actuating position by a housing section of the collar for a duration of an arrangement of the attachment part on the handle region.
Shear blade and cutting device
A shear blade is for a portable hydraulic cutting device having a blade body. The blade body has assembly and cutting regions, with a cutting edge in the cutting region. A contact surface is on one side of the cutting edge for an additional shear blade. An outer surface on the other side of the cutting edge acts on the object to be cut. A first surface portion of the outer surface extends away from the cutting edge along an orthogonal, which meets the contact surface at the cutting edge, or at an acute angle relative to the orthogonal. A second surface portion connects to the first surface portion at an acute angle to the orthogonal. A third surface portion connects to the second surface portion at an acute angle to the orthogonal. Angle is smaller than angle , which is smaller than angle .
