Cutting device

A cutting device for cutting a pipe having a pipe wall includes an elongate carrier having a tool end which is engageable with a power tool, and a free end. The device includes a guide wheel located at the free end of the carrier, which is mounted thereon for rotation relative thereto, having a bearing surface extending parallel to a longitudinal axis of the carrier. The device also includes a cutting element having a peripheral cutting edge which is located adjacent to the guide wheel being positioned intermediate the guide wheel and the tool end. The cutting element is of greater transverse dimension than the guide wheel so that when the bearing surface bears against an internal surface of the pipe the distance between the cutting edge of the cutting element and the bearing surface enables the cutting element to cut through the pipe wall.

A tube notching device for forming a notch in a tubular workpiece. The tube notching device includes a support frame, a vise, a positioning assembly, a cutting assembly, and a cutting mechanism. The vise is mounted to the support frame and secures the tubular workpiece in a desired support position. The positioning assembly is pivotally mounted to the support frame. The cutting assembly is pivotally mounted to the positioning assembly. The cutting mechanism is mounted to the cutting assembly and configured to form a notch in the tubular workpiece. The present disclosure relates to a cutter clamp (8, 37) that comprises a first arm part (10, 39) and a second arm part (11, 40), where the arm parts (10, 11; 39, 40) are arcuate and arranged to adjustably at least partially enclose a major part of a circumference (57, 63) having a center (58, 64). The cutter clamp (8, 37) comprises at least one hollow rod (21, 22; 48, 62) arranged for receiving a mounting rod (36) for a power cutter (1, 56) in a pivoting manner. The smaller circumference the arm parts (10, 11; 39, 40) are adjusted for, the closer to the center (58, 64) said hollow rod (21, 22; 48, 62) is moved.
