PIPE CUT-OFF TOOL AND ACCESSORIES FOR SUCH TOOLS
Power tools such as cutting saws with rotary powered blades are described. Also described are various accessories for tools used with cylindrical workpieces such as pipes are described. The accessories include a clamp and saw joint assembly, various quick connection assemblies between a saw and a clamping system, a plunge guide assembly, a latch plate assembly, an interlock switch, a blade guard system, and a chip management system or chip deflector. Also described are related methods of use.
Coupling members and pipe machining apparatuses including coupling members
Coupling members and pipe machining apparatuses including coupling members are provided. In one aspect, a coupling member includes a shaft and an engagement member defining a cavity there through and including a projection. The shaft is at least partially positioned within the cavity and extends through the cavity, and the shaft is adapted to rotate relative to the engagement member. The coupling member also includes a plunger at least partially positioned within the cavity and movable relative to the engagement member, and further includes a biasing member at least partially positioned within the cavity between the plunger and the engagement member.
PIPE CUTTING ACCESSORY FOR POWER TOOL
An exemplary pipe cutting accessory includes a shaft extending along an axis and having a front end portion a rear end portion configured to be coupled to a tool holder of a power tool. A disc-shaped cutting blade is fixedly coupled to the front end portion of the shaft and configured to rotate about the axis together with the shaft. A roller portion is concentrically received over the front end portion rearward of the cutting blade. The roller portion has a cylindrical outer surface configured to roll along an inside wall of a pipe while the shaft and cutting blade rotate about the axis to cut a pipe from an inside of the pipe. A depth stop may be movably coupled to the shaft or the roller portion and configured to abut an end of the pipe.
Frame grab bars for pipe cut-off tool clamping system
Power tools such as cutting saws with rotary powered blades are described. Also described are various accessories for tools used with cylindrical workpieces such as pipes are described. The accessories include a clamp and saw joint assembly, various quick connection assemblies between a saw and a clamping system, a plunge guide assembly, a latch plate assembly, an interlock switch, a blade guard system, and a chip management system or chip deflector. Also described are related methods of use.
CUTTING DEVICE
A cutting device for cutting a pipe having a pipe wall. The cutting device includes an elongate carrier having a tool end which is engageable with a power tool and an opposed free end. The device includes a guide wheel located at the free end of the carrier which is loosely mounted thereon for rotation relative thereto, having a bearing surface extending parallel to a longitudinal axis of the carrier. The device also includes a cutting element having a peripheral cutting edge which is located adjacent to the guide wheel being positioned intermediate the guide wheel and the tool end. The cutting element is of greater transverse dimension than the guide wheel so that when the bearing surface bears against an internal surface of the pipe the distance between the cutting edge of the cutting element and the bearing surface enables the cutting element to cut through the pipe wall.

Traveling saw sample cut system
A saw and inspection system configured to allow for cutting a sample portion of a tube and inspect it without removing the tube from the production line. The sample portion of the tube may be cut with a saw and the sample portion is moved to the inspection table via a conveyer belt. This allows for a more rapid inspection of the tube without having to remove the tube from the production line, cut the sample portion and then inspect it.
