In a coordinate system having an origin defined by a point on a center line of the second transmission member, a positive direction of an X axis defined by a forward direction of the electric circular, and a positive direction of a Y axis defined by an upper side of the electric circular saw, the second end of the motor shaft is arranged in a first quadrant of the coordinate system.

The plunge saws further include a plunge mechanism, which is configured to be selectively actuated, by a user of the plunge saw and during operative use of the plunge saw to cut a workpiece, to transition the plunge saw from a retracted orientation to a plunged orientation and to plunge the circular saw blade into the workpiece. The plunge saws also include a cut indicator, which is configured to project a light line onto the workpiece to visually indicate, on the workpiece, a location of an edge of the circular saw blade.

The table cutting device has the additional display assembly so that an operator can observe electric quantity information of the battery pack when operating the table cutting device, thereby greatly improving operation convenience.
