PERCUSSIVE THERAPY DEVICE WITH VARIABLE AMPLITUDE

A percussive therapy device that includes a housing, an electrical source, a motor positioned in the housing, a switch for activating the motor, a push rod assembly operatively connected to the motor and configured to provide reciprocating motion in response to activation of the motor, and a massage attachment secured to a distal end of the push rod assembly. The reciprocating motion of the push rod assembly has a user-adjustable amplitude.

Reciprocating saw

A power tool includes a housing, a motor, and a drive mechanism. The drive mechanism includes a driven gear that is rotated by the motor. The driven gear is vertically-oriented within the housing and has an upper portion and a lower portion. The drive mechanism also includes a connecting rod coupled to the driven gear to translate rotary motion of the driven gear into reciprocating motion, and an output shaft coupled to the connecting rod to reciprocate relative to the housing through a cutting stroke and a return stroke. The drive mechanism further includes a counterweight coupled to the driven gear for rotation with the driven gear. The counterweight moves through the upper portion of the driven gear during the cutting stroke of the output shaft, and moves through the lower portion of the driven gear during a return stroke of the output shaft.

Reciprocating saw

A power tool includes a housing, a motor, and a drive mechanism. The drive mechanism includes a driven gear that is rotated by the motor. The driven gear is vertically-oriented within the housing and has an upper portion and a lower portion. The drive mechanism also includes a connecting rod coupled to the driven gear to translate rotary motion of the driven gear into reciprocating motion, and an output shaft coupled to the connecting rod to reciprocate relative to the housing through a cutting stroke and a return stroke. The drive mechanism further includes a counterweight coupled to the driven gear for rotation with the driven gear. The counterweight moves through the upper portion of the driven gear during the cutting stroke of the output shaft, and moves through the lower portion of the driven gear during a return stroke of the output shaft.

The motor is positioned in the head portion of the housing, and at least a portion of the push rod assembly extends outside of the head portion.

A lateral edge extends along the axis from the distal front tip of the saw blade to the proximal rear portion of the fixing shank. A blade portion, with a maximum height defined by the cutting edge and the lateral edge, terminates at a corner. A fixing shank with a maximum height defined by the cutting edge and the lateral edge that is shorter than the blade portion terminates at the cutting teeth. A transition region extends from the fixing shank to the blade portion, and at least two spaced apart impressions are formed in the transition region but do not extend into the blade portion.

The bar includes a first plate and an opposed second plate defining a space therebetween, and an opening in at least one of the plates for releasable connection to a saw. The blade includes a base moveably disposed in the space between the plates and a head integral with the base located outside of the bar. The head has teeth at least as wide as a portion of the bar adjacent the head. The drive link extends through the bar and is moveable therein with a proximal end configured for attachment to a drive component of the saw and a distal end connected to either the base of the blade or a pivot link. The bar includes a structural member adjacent the head that extends forward of the head.

A surgical saw blade cartridge includes a bar, a blade and a drive link. The bar includes a first plate and an opposed second plate defining a space therebetween, and an opening in at least one of the plates for releasable connection to a saw. The head has teeth at least as wide as a portion of the bar adjacent the head.
