Saw blade positioning device
A device for positioning a reciprocating saw blade within a tube stub, such that the device is inserted into the tube stub and dynamically positions the reciprocating saw blade relative to the interior surface of the tube stub so that the saw blade can make a controlled longitudinal cut into the interior of the tube stub to a precise depth.
BLADE EXTENSION AND EXTENDED REACH RECIPROCATING SAW WITH BLADE EXTENSION
A blade extension for a reciprocating saw comprises a movable member and a stationary member. The movable member has a proximal end, a distal end and a body extending between the proximal end and the distal end. The proximal end comprises a blade end shaped to be received in a blade holder of the reciprocating saw. The distal end is configured to be coupled to a reciprocating saw blade. The stationary member extends along at least a portion of the movable member and supports the movable member for movement relative to the stationary member. The stationary member has a proximal end configured to be coupled to the reciprocating saw and an opposite distal end. The distal end of the movable member is arranged to protrude distally beyond the distal end of the stationary member.
Saw guide and method of using same
A saw guide can include pivotally connected arcuate sections having a plurality of slots formed therein to receive and guide saw blades as they cut a workpiece, such as a pipe or tube. The slots are of varying width so that the saw guide can be used with different saws. For example, the saw guide can include a first slot sized to receive and guide the blade of a reciprocating saw, and a relatively narrower second slot, sized to receive the blade of a portable band saw. The saw guide can include a locking mechanism to securely hold the saw guide on the workpiece, and a stopping mechanism for preventing the saw blade from cutting into the saw guide.
Shoe accessory for a saw
An angle guide for a band saw having a guide body for coupling to the band saw and a first engaging surface of the body for engaging a workpiece during a cutting operation of the band saw. The first engaging surface defines a first plane. The angle guide also has a second surface of the body defining a second plane. The second plane is substantially non-parallel to the first plane. The angle guide also includes a tool side edge of the body for being positioned adjacent the band saw, the tool side edge defining a third plane. A cut angle is defined by an angle between the first plane and the third plane.

Reciprocating tool
A reciprocating saw serving as reciprocating tool is equipped with a motor, a drive transmission mechanism that converts rotation of the motor into reciprocating motion, a rod that is connected to the drive transmission mechanism and that engages in reciprocating motion, and an upper roller and a lower roller that are capable of rolling and that have depressed portions that are capable of coming in contact with the rod, wherein the cross-section of the rod has no corners, and the depressed portions of the upper roller and the lower roller have hourglass-like profiles.

POWER TOOL
A power tool includes a motor having an output shaft rotatable around a first axis, a spindle rotatably supported around a second axis, a transmitting mechanism configured to reciprocally rotate the spindle within a specified angle range around the second axis, an elongate support body supporting the motor, the spindle and the transmitting mechanism, an elongate housing that houses the support body, and a first elastic member interposed between the housing and a first end part of the support body and connecting the housing and the support body so as to be movable relative to each other. The spindle is supported in the first end part such that the second axis crosses the direction of a longitudinal axis of the support body. The support body has a weight provided to increase an inertia moment of the support body around the second axis.
Hand-held power-tool footplate apparatus
A hand-held power-tool footplate apparatus for portable power tools includes at least one main body unit configured to be removably positioned on a power-tool housing of a portable power tool, at least one housing abutment configured to abut against the power-tool housing, and at least one clamping surface located on a side that faces away from the housing abutment of the main body unit. The main body unit has a multi-point position fixing unit which has at least two pivot locking stops that differ from each other and that are configured to pivot angle lock the main body unit.
