Band-saw machine and method for sawing a metal tube

A method for sawing a metal tube (3) or a hollow section is disclosed. The method includes using a band-saw machine, which has a stationary lower saw part (1), having a saw table (2) for securing the metal tube (3) or the hollow section to be sawn, and an upper saw part (4), which is movable in relation to the lower saw part (1) and which has a revolving saw band (5). The revolving saw band (5) penetrates the metal tube (3) or the hollow section via a feed motion (13) of the upper saw part (4), which is performed in relation to the lower saw part (1). For performing a saw cut, the revolving saw band (5) is guided through the metal tube (3) or the hollow section. The feed motion is carried out substantially counter to the force of gravity.

SAWING MACHINE FOR BEVEL CUTS

A sawing machine for bevel cuts having an upper saw portion with two running wheels, one of which is motor driven, a saw band which rotates about the running wheels, a lifting and lowering device for the upward and downward movement of the upper saw portion to move the saw band with a sawing advance movement in a sawing region, a transport path for supplying a workpiece in a supply direction to the sawing region, a frame, on which the upper saw portion is retained and which is pivotable about a vertical axis in order to adjust a bevel angle between the saw band and the supply direction. A movable sawing table is arranged in the sawing region for positioning the workpiece to be sawn and a clamping vice for clamping the workpiece during the sawing operation. The sawing table and the clamping vice are constructed to be movable in and counter to the supply direction.

The adjustable support tooling apparatus is supporting a three-dimensional workpiece while it is being detached from a substrate plate by cutting device. The adjustable support apparatus of the present disclosure is also easily adaptable to various weights and geometric of workpiece. The improved substrate plate preparation machine in additive manufacturing enables to complete a job at one place, wherein the job is cutting the work piece and grinding the uneven cut surface of the substrate plate, thereby the ground substrate plate can be reused.

A horizontal band saw machine includes a fixing vise jaw and a cutting head configured to cut a workpiece while descending along a guide post extending in a vertical direction. The cutting head includes a housing to which a driving wheel and a driven wheel are rotatably attached, and an endless band saw blade tightly stretched between the driving wheel and the driven wheel. When the workpiece a is cut with the band saw blade, a center of the driving wheel is located above a center of the driven wheel and the housing moves linearly up and down along the guide post. A fixing vise reference, which is a vertical plane on which the fixing vise jaw fixes the workpiece, shares a cutting end point at which the band saw blade ends cutting of the workpiece.

Cutting assembly

A cutting assembly for cutting a workpiece includes a frame, a fixture, and a saw. The fixture is coupled to the frame, and is configured to receive the workpiece. The saw has a cutter to cut the workpiece. The saw is pivotally coupled to the frame. The cutting assembly further includes a locking assembly for locking the workpiece within the fixture. The locking assembly includes a lock structure pivotally coupled to the fixture. The lock structure is configured to lock the workpiece within the fixture. The locking assembly further includes a telescopic structure coupled to the saw and the lock structure. The telescopic structure is configured to move the lock structure in response to a pivotal movement of the saw. The telescopic structure facilitates a locking, by the lock structure, of the workpiece within the fixture.

BAND SAW MACHINE

A band saw machine includes a base having a cutting fluid reservoir, a saw blade housing movable in an up-down direction, a pair of saw blade wheels around which a band saw blade are wound, a downstream main vise having a pair of downstream main vise jaws for clamping a product correspondent portion of the workpiece, a discharge table for discharging a product to an outside of the cutting fluid reservoir, and a product feed mechanism that feed the product cut out from the workpiece to a side on an upstream end of the discharge table.

A working-side running area of the band saw blade and a working-opposite-side running area of the band saw blade are positioned within the cutting fluid reservoir, and the upstream end of the discharge table is positioned on a downstream side from a wheel center line connecting centers of the pair of saw blade wheels.

The machine for cutting nozzles of reactor vessels comprises a cutting unit positioned at an upper surface edge of a reactor vessel having a nozzle and having a saw blade part having different contact areas to cut the nozzle, a drive unit providing the saw blade part with rotary power, and a foreign substance suction unit provided at one end of the cutting unit in contiguity with the saw blade part to suck foreign substances generated when the nozzle is cut by the saw blade part, wherein the foreign substance suction unit sucks the foreign substances by approaching an outer peripheral surface of the nozzle when the saw blade part moves in a cutting direction of the nozzle.
