Shoe accessory for a saw
An angle guide for a band saw having a guide body for coupling to the band saw and a first engaging surface of the body for engaging a workpiece during a cutting operation of the band saw. The first engaging surface defines a first plane. The angle guide also has a second surface of the body defining a second plane. The second plane is substantially non-parallel to the first plane. The angle guide also includes a tool side edge of the body for being positioned adjacent the band saw, the tool side edge defining a third plane. A cut angle is defined by an angle between the first plane and the third plane.

ADJUSTABLE SHOE FOR A POWER TOOL
A shoe for a band saw, the shoe having a body including a generally C-shaped member defined by a substantially planar portion for engaging a workpiece and a pair of rails extending transversely therefrom and wrapping such that the body includes a generally T-shaped receptacle for slidably receiving a correspondingly-shaped member. The substantially planar portion includes apertures aligned linearly. A biased detent feature has a holding force with a magnitude sufficient to hold the body when the detent feature is seated in one of the apertures. The body is moveable linearly, relative to the detent feature, in the direction of alignment of the apertures between engaged and non-engaged positions. The body is moveable out of the engaged position in the direction by application of a disengaging force in the direction acting to move the body with respect to the detent feature and acting to overcome the holding force in the engaged position.

BAND SAW INCLUDING TOUCH SENSORS
A band saw having a touch sensor. An example band saw includes a housing, a motor, a first handle including a first trigger configured to be actuated by a user, a second handle including a touch sensor, and a controller connected to the motor, the first trigger, and the touch sensor. A first hand of the user may be detected on the first handle based on actuation or de-actuation of the first trigger. The touch sensor is configured to detect a second hand of the user on the second handle. The controller is configured to determine that the touch sensor is actuated by the user, determine that the first trigger is actuated by the user after the touch sensor is actuated by the user, and drive, in response to the touch sensor being actuated and the first trigger sensor being actuated after the touch sensor is actuated, the motor.

Portable pipe saw assembly
A portable pipe saw assembly includes a saw that may be manipulated thereby facilitating the saw to engage a member. The saw has a pair of housings. The housings are spaced apart from each other to define a cutting space. The cutting space receives the member. The cutting space has a width of at least sixteen inches and a depth of at least twenty inches. A cutting unit is movably coupled to the saw. The cutting unit engages the member thereby facilitating the cutting unit to cut the member.

Adjustable shoe for a power tool
A band saw includes a first wheel and a second wheel for supporting a continuous band saw blade, a motor operable to drive at least one of the first and second wheels, a housing supporting the first wheel and the second wheel, a shoe for engaging a workpiece, the shoe including a first detent feature. The band saw also includes a second detent feature cooperating with the first detent feature to hold the shoe with respect to the housing. The shoe is moveable with respect to the housing between an engaged position and a non-engaged position. The shoe is moveable out of the engaged position by application of a force acting to move the shoe with respect to the housing sufficient to overcome cooperation between the first and second detent features in the engaged position.
