A band saw includes a housing, a motor, a drive pulley configured to receive torque from the motor, causing the drive pulley to rotate, and a plurality of driven pulleys rotatably coupled to a plate that is coupled to the housing for sliding movement. The band saw further includes a cavity within the housing and located between the drive pulley and the plurality of driven pulleys and an endless saw blade wrapped around the drive pulley and the plurality of driven pulleys. The endless saw blade passes through the cavity. Moreover, the band saw includes a guide roller set coupled to the housing and configured to support the endless saw blade as the endless saw blade passes through the cavity. The plurality of driven pulleys gradually impart a twisting movement on the endless saw blade prior to the endless saw blade passing though the cavity.

A handheld band saw includes a housing assembly including a battery pack mounting portion for mounting a battery pack, a rotating wheel assembly at least partially disposed in the housing assembly and including a first rotating wheel and a second rotating wheel, where the first rotating wheel and the second rotating wheel are configured to be substantially symmetrical about a midplane, an electric motor disposed in the housing assembly and capable of driving one of the first rotating wheel and the second rotating wheel to rotate, a fan which is capable of generating at least one airflow in the housing assembly, and a control circuit board disposed in the housing assembly.

A band saw machine includes a first wheel and a second wheel arranged lower than the first wheel, the first wheel and the second wheel being configured to apply a tension to a band saw blade for tracking, a first supply unit arranged between a lowermost end of the second wheel and a workpiece cutting position along a travelling direction from the second wheel toward the first wheel in a rotary travel path of the band saw blade and configured to spray a cutting fluid in a mist or to drop the cutting fluid onto a tooth part of the band saw blade, and a second supply unit arranged between the workpiece cutting position to the second wheel and configured to pour or spray the cutting fluid or a fluid for cooling over the band saw blade.

A ribbon saw with a double security system is provided that includes a cutting ribbon (3), vertically installed between an upper part (1a) and a lower part (1b) with driving mechanism and control electronics. The control electronics include a first artificial vision security system, with a camera (5) and a second magnetic artificial vision security system, with an inductive sensor or metal detector (6) installed on the table (4), in front of the cutting ribbon (3). The security system is connected to one or two braking systems (14,15) based on a disc (14) and a pneumatic clamp (15) that stops the mechanism of pulleys (12a, 12b) of the ribbon (3), when it detects the color and the metallic or ferrous material of the gloves that the operator wears.

A saw-band quick replacement mechanism for a bandsaw machine includes an immovable rack, a sliding seat, a support member, and a control device. The immovable rack defines a lift space extending along a first direction. The sliding seat is accommodated in the lift space and configured to move upward and downward. The sliding seat has a bottom formed with a first incline. The support member has a second incline configured to abut against the first incline. The control device includes an eccentric member and a handle. The handle is used to switch the eccentric member between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the support member props up the sliding seat. When being switched from the first position to the second position, the eccentric member makes the support member to move along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, so the sliding seat moves downward.

A bandsaw wheel may include a hub, a rim, and an intermediate body. The intermediate body may extend between and connect the hub and the rim. The hub, the rim, and the intermediate body may be provided as separate, individual components.
