Magazine wire saw
A wire saw includes a U-shaped cutting area. An endless sawing wire loop runs between a plurality of wire pulleys including at least two displaceable cutting area pulleys, displaceable wire tensioning pulleys and wire plane changing pulleys. The endless wire loop defines a first cutting area plane P1 in the U-shaped cutting area and at least one further wire loop plane dissimilar from the first cutting area plane. The wire plane changing pulleys guide the sawing wire between the first cutting area plane and the further wire loop plane P2. A wire driving pulley is driven by a wire drive motor. A cutting area pulley actuator runs the cutting area pulleys along each side of the workpiece cutting area. The displaceable wire tensioning pulleys are displaceable by at least one tensioning actuator within the further wire loop plane P2 to maintain a tensioned sawing wire.
Apparatus for Servicing a Structure
Apparatus for servicing a structure comprises a frame for assembly around the structure, the frame having least one pair of first and second arms pivotally attached at proximal ends thereof to the frame and carrying respective rotating members arranged to contact the structure and driveable to move the frame along the structure.
MACHINE FOR CUTTING NOZZLES OF REACTOR VESSELS
Disclosed herein is a machine for cutting nozzles of reactor vessels. The machine for cutting nozzles of reactor vessels comprises a cutting unit positioned at an upper surface edge of a reactor vessel having a nozzle and having a saw blade part having different contact areas to cut the nozzle, a drive unit providing the saw blade part with rotary power, and a foreign substance suction unit provided at one end of the cutting unit in contiguity with the saw blade part to suck foreign substances generated when the nozzle is cut by the saw blade part, wherein the foreign substance suction unit sucks the foreign substances by approaching an outer peripheral surface of the nozzle when the saw blade part moves in a cutting direction of the nozzle.
SUBSEA PROCESSING MACHINE COMPRISING A TOOL HOLDER WITH A CHANGE HUB FOR RECEIVING ROTARY TOOLS
In order to mill, drill, saw or the like in the offshore sector, subsea processing machines are used which comprise a tool holder with a change hub for receiving at least one rotary tool, such as for instance a milling cutter, saw, drill or the like. The tool holder preferably has a carrier body for receiving the tool hub, wherein the latter comprises a hub flange for receiving tools. The preferably centric hub ring of the change hub can be arranged on the carrier body of the tool holder and can be connected to the tool holder in such a manner as to be able to be detached and clamped by means of at least one locking apparatus.

Jacket leg cutting tool
A cutting system is used for cutting a hollow cylindrical support beam which forms part of a support structure of a sea platform. The cutting system comprises a fixating device to fixate the cutting system in an operation position around an outer wall of the support beam, and a drilling device to drill a series of through holes in the outer wall and around the support beam. The drilling device is movable along a drill track and around the support beam by a drill driver.
A Wall Structure Cutting Wire Saw
The present invention relates to a wall structure cutting wire saw. The wire saw includes a master saw unit 12 with master rail elements 35 adapted to run on a first set of tracks 7. The master saw unit 12 includes a wire drive motor 18, a wire magazine 17 accommodating a portion of a of cutting wire 15 in a cutting wire loop, and a saw drive 11 adapted to drive the master saw unit 12 along the first set of tracks 7. The master saw unit also includes a wire tension actuator. A slave unit 13 with at least one slave wire return wheel 23 and slave rail elements 36 is adapted to run on a second set of rails 8. The invention further includes a first set of rails adapted to be secured to a first side of the wall structure; and a second set of rails adapted to be secured to a second side of the wall structure 33. The wall structure 33 may form a wall of a GBS leg.
Method of using a device to ventilate a burning building
A device for ventilating a burning building that includes, a chassis; and a cutting assembly, mounted on the chassis. The cutting assembly is adapted to cut a ventilation hole in a roof or wall member of a building either autonomously or under remote control by an operator to allow smoke and/or hot gases to escape from the roof space.
Diamond wire saw apparatus
In various aspects, the diamond wire saw apparatus disclosed herein includes a frame formed in a U-shape from a first rail and a second rail secured to a base, the first rail and the second rail being parallel to one another and perpendicular to the base. Several pulleys are disposed about the frame, and a diamond wire is engaged with the several pulleys to be cycled about the several pulleys. Some of the several pulleys traverse portions of the frame in opposing directions to maintain a selected tension in the diamond wire as the diamond wire is advanced while being cycled to cut a workpiece releasably engaged with the frame. The first rail, the second rail, and the base are formed in sections to be sized to correspondingly size an interior region of the frame to accommodate a workpiece by selective inclusion of sections in the first rail, the second rail, and the base.
