A power tool includes a power tool housing including a fluid inlet and a discharge outlet. A motor is supported by the power tool housing. A tool is configured to be moved relative to the housing by the motor. A fan is configured to be rotated by the motor, such that a fluid flow with debris generated by movement of the tool is drawn into the fluid inlet and through the discharge outlet. A filter is removably attached to the power tool housing. The filter includes a filter media configured to separate the debris from the flow of fluid. The filter media includes a collection container configured to store the debris. The filter also includes an opening in the filter media through which the flow of fluid with the debris enters the collection container, and a valve that is moveable between a closed position and an open position.
ACCESSORY FOR AN OSCILLATING POWER TOOL
An accessory for use with an oscillating power tool. The accessory includes an attachment portion including a mounting aperture arrangement configured to couple with the oscillating power tool. The accessory also includes a body extending away from the attachment portion in a longitudinal direction defining a longitudinal axis, a distal end portion including a generally planar surface and a cutting edge configured to perform a material-removing operation, and a conduit extending from proximate the cutting edge towards the attachment portion. The conduit is configured to convey material removed during the material-removing operation towards a vacuum system.
Cutting device with integrated and interruptible auxiliary power supply
An improved cutting device with an integrated and interruptible auxiliary power supply. In a preferred embodiment, the improved cutting device is a miter saw having a trigger mechanism for controlling a cutting implement, and at least one 120V or 240V auxiliary power outlet. Electrical power is only provided to the cutting implement and the auxiliary power outlet when the triggering or a similar mechanism is activated, and the release of the triggering mechanism by the user automatically shuts off electrical power to both the cutting implement and the at least one auxiliary power outlet. The auxiliary power outlet is useful for powering any number of different accessories including, without limitation, a light, vacuum source, etc., and is repositionable.
UNIT FOR MACHINING GROOVES AND SEPARATING CUTS, HAVING A CHIP-GUIDING FUNCTION
A unit for machining a workpiece, in particular for machining grooves and separating cuts therein, said workpiece preferably consisting at least partially of wood, wood-based materials, metal materials or plastic, has a main body (1), a machining tool (2) which is mounted, in particular rotatably mounted, on the main body (1), wherein the machining tool (2) has a first portion (3) which is configured such that, during machining of the workpiece (10), it is able to penetrate into the workpiece (10), and a guiding device (4) which is arranged in the region preferably next to the machining tool (2) and is configured such that a medium is able to flow along, preferably through, the guiding device (4), wherein the guiding device (4) has at least one opening (5) at a lower end portion thereof. The guiding device (4) is configured such that the medium is able to flow out of the opening (5) substantially towards the first portion (3) of the machining tool (2), and/or the guiding device (4) has an extraction device.
Method for machining plate material by using linear saw and numerical control saw machine apparatus
Provided are a method for machining a plate material by using a linear saw, and a numerical control saw machine apparatus. The numerical control saw machine apparatus includes: two carrying mechanisms, which are connected to two ends of a linear saw respectively; at least one control motor, configured for adjusting a distance between the two carrying mechanisms; and a pair of vibration motors, configured for driving the vibration of the linear saw, wherein, the distance between the two carrying mechanisms is adjusted by the control motor based on a monitored change in a torque of the control motor.
EMERGENCY EVACUATION TOOL
An emergency evacuation tool that is configured to be mounted within an operator cab of heavy equipment wherein the tool of the present invention is operable to facilitate evacuation of the cab by cutting through the safety cage surroundably present thereto. The present invention includes a housing having a motor and a power supply disposed in the interior volume thereof. A blade is present on one end of the housing wherein the blade is adjustable and axially aligned with the housing. The blade is surroundably mounted by a blade guard housing. The lower edge of the blade guard housing provides stabilization during use. A spark receiving member is secured to the blade guard housing. The emergency evacuation tool is releasably secured to a mounting case that is electrically coupled to the heavy equipment. The housing includes at least one handle that is rotatable about the housing.
SUCTION DEVICE AND HANDHELD POWER SAW MACHINE EQUIPPED THEREWITH
A suction device for a portable handheld power saw (10), wherein: the handheld power saw has a housing (17) in which a drive motor (11) is arranged and has a tool holder (14), which can be driven to linearly oscillate along an axis of movement (SO) by the drive motor (11), for a sawing tool (15) having an elongate design and extending along a longitudinal axis for making a saw cut in a workpiece (W). The suction device (30) has at least one guide contour (55) which, when the suction device is mounted on the handheld power saw, protrudes in front of the machine guide surface (23) such that the handheld power saw can be guided on the workpiece by means of the at least one guide contour (55) instead of the machine guide surface.
CIRCULAR SAW
A circular saw includes a blade guard and a saw blade at least partially enclosed within the blade guard. The saw blade has an outer diameter that is greater than 6 inches. The circular saw further includes a motor housing coupled to the blade guard, a brushless electric motor supported within the motor housing, and a battery pack for providing power to the brushless electric motor.
Suction device
A suction device for a handheld power tool that is adapted to be driven in oscillation and that is equipped with a gearbox extension housing for mounting of the suction device. The suction device having a body mounted on the gearbox extension housing of the handheld power tool via a mounting section and an air duct formed in the body, the air duct being delimited at one end by an air inlet and at an other end by an air outlet on which a suction apparatus or a dust exhauster is adapted to be detachably mounted. The mounting section of the body is formed essentially as a hollow cylinder and extends between a first plane and a second plane, which are substantially parallel.
Work table fence assembly and sled therefor
A sled assembly configured to push stock along a fence includes a carriage and rollers mounted at spaced apart positions. The rollers engage the fence to guide movement of the carriage therealong and each has a peripheral portion for being received in a fence race. An adjustable roller mount selectively adjusts the position of the roller to align the peripheral portions of the rollers with the width of the race. An adjustable fence assembly includes an outfeed fence movable relative to an infeed fence. An outfeed fence adjustment mechanism includes mounting posts at spaced apart locations along the length of the outfeed fence movable to drive movement of the outfeed fence along an axis transverse to the feed direction.
