The display case includes a local controller, a refrigeration apparatus, and multiple sensors. The remote controller includes a processing circuit configured to receive diagnostics data from the local controller of the display case, according to some embodiments. The processing circuit is configured to identify one or more events using the diagnostics data and assign a rank to each of the one or more events. The processing circuit is configured to promote the rank of each of the one or more events based on an amount of time that each of the one or more events persists. The processing circuit is configured to operate the display device to notify a user regarding the one or more events and the rank of each event.

The refrigerated display case includes a rear wall has a first end, a second end disposed opposite the first end and a plurality of markings disposed between the first end and the second end. A mounting rail is coupled to the rear wall. A shelf is adjustably coupleable to the mounting rail at a plurality of positions between the first end and the second end of the rear wall. The plurality of markings are configured to indicate a distance from the first end of the rear wall to the shelf based on alignment of the shelf with at least one of the plurality of markings.

METHOD AND SYSTEM TO VARY SUCTION TEMPERATURE TO POSTPONE FROST FORMATION

A cooling system includes an evaporator coil and a compressor fluidly coupled to the evaporator coil. A circulation fan is arranged to direct air through the evaporator coil and through a discharge air duct into a conditioned space. At least one sensor is disposed in at least one of the discharge air duct, the conditioned space, and the evaporator coil. An HVAC controller is electrically coupled to the at least one sensor and electrically coupled to the compressor. The HVAC controller is configured to receive a measurement of an HVAC parameter from the at least one sensor, determine if the HVAC parameter indicates frost formation on the evaporator coil, and, responsive to a determination that the HVAC parameter indicates frost formation on the evaporator coil, raise a saturated suction temperature of the evaporator coil.

Systems and methods are disclosed herein that include providing a cooler with a supply duct, a plurality of shelf plenums connected in fluid communication with the supply duct, and a return duct to implement precise temperature control over an internal cooling space of the cooler. Each of the shelf plenums may include openings disposed in a top surface of each shelf plenum. A supply airflow generated by a fan of a refrigeration system may pass the supply airflow through the supply duct to each of the plurality of shelf plenums, where the supply airflow may exit the shelf plenums through the openings in each shelf plenum to directly contact beverages and/or food products disposed on the top surface of the shelf plenums. The cooler may be further operated to supercool liquid beverages below a freezing point of the beverages without causing solidification and/or crystallization of the beverages.

A return mechanism is arranged above the pair of panels and a pulling mechanism is guided over the deflection mechanism and connects the two panels in the pair. Each panel of the pair is disposed with respect to the deflection mechanism so that a movement of one panel in a first movement direction effectuates a movement of the second panel in a second movement direction. A refrigerated cabinet includes such a panel system.

The upper and further surface panels each comprise at least one slideably openable section (18, 22) and the further panel covers less than 95% of the surface area of the opening in a horizontal plane at a height of the lowest part of the further panel.

Air in the refrigerated storage space is separated from air exterior to the display refrigerator or freezer by an air curtain established by one or more fans which blow air towards one or more air outlets via a cooling heat exchanger and which recover air in the air curtain via one or more air inlets for recirculation to the one or more air outlets. The refrigerated storage space has a base shelf. One or more air inlet ducts are arranged between the one or more air inlets and the one or more fans such that the air recovered via the one or more air inlets is directed by the one or more air inlet ducts towards the one or more fans. The one or more air inlet ducts, in combination with at least a portion of the base shelf, define at least a portion of a cavity beneath the base shelf, the cavity being sealed from the air recovered via the one or more air inlet.
