The aim of the invention is to not use, partially or completely, the inner aluminium profile as a spacer in multi-pane doors of refrigerators whilst retaining the required stability and also to replace all other spacers with transparent glass spacer. The invention also relates to methods for the production thereof. The insulating glass elements for the multiple-pane doors with a transparent edge composite for use in shop fittings, refrigerator construction and special cabinet construction, comprise glass spacers (1) between the base disk (4) and the cover disk (4) in the vertical regions of doors and in the upper horizontal region or in both horizontal regions, aluminum or plastic spacers (2), and EVA film sheets (3) between the base disk (4) and the spacers (1, 2) and between the spacers (1, 2) and the cover disk (4), the EVA film sheets (3) are arranged in the four edge regions overlapping the vertical spacers (2) to the horizontal spacers (1). In another embodiment, the EVA film is replaced with ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer granulates, which is heated by means of a metering device and is applied in a liquefied form at the desired positions as thread-shaped strips. The crosslinking between the glass and the ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer occurs in the lamination oven.

METHOD FOR IMPROVING BEHAVIOUR OF A MUSEUM DISPLAY CASE WITH RESPECT TO OBJECTS EXHIBITED THEREIN
20230255364 · 2023-08-17 ·

In order to improve the behaviour of a museum display case towards objects exhibited therein, the display case is subjected to a heat treatment in which the museum display case is maintained at a treatment temperature for a treatment time. The treatment temperature is between 35° and 50° and the treatment time is at least 30 hours. In this way, the emission of harmful volatile substances, including VOCs (volatile organic compounds), is drastically reduced and consequently the objects displayed in the display case are not at risk of damages due to the presence of these volatile substances in the display case.

Refrigerator cabinet

A foot is connected to the bottom wall of a refrigeration cabinet. The foot is selectively movable relative to the bottom wall to adjust a vertical position of the foot with respect to the bottom wall. The bottom wall provides access to the foot from within the interior of the cabinet to allow a user to selectively move the foot to adjust the vertical position of the foot with respect to the bottom wall. The foot includes a stop configured to engage the bottom wall and thereby limit downward adjustment of the foot with respect to the bottom wall. A floor glide is connected to the bottom wall and initially protrudes downward from the bottom wall beyond the foot. The floor glide enables the cabinet to slide along a support surface to a deployment position so then the foot can be lowered to support the cabinet at the deployment position on the foot.

A vacuum insulated panel is disclosed herein. According to an embodiment, the vacuum insulated panel may include a frame having a first side and a second side. The vacuum insulated panel also may include a first convex sheet positioned about the first side of the frame and a second convex sheet positioned about the second side of the frame. Moreover, the vacuum insulated panel may include a cavity formed between the first convex sheet and the second convex sheet. Further, the vacuum insulated panel may include a vacuum formed within the cavity. The vacuum may be configured to at least partially flatten the first convex sheet and the second convex sheet into a substantially parallel planar configuration.

Foldable display rack with hinged and telescopic side walls and method for the build-up thereof

The invention relates to a display, a kit, and a method for displaying goods. The display has a compact and one or more built-up configurations. The display has shelves that can be supported by hingedly connected, slideably attached, and telescopic side walls. The kit has a display and an advertisement wall for the display. The method relates to the spacing of two shelves by means of two side walls by exerting a force on one of both shelves and hinging and sliding the side walls to a position in essence perpendicular to both shelves.

REFRIGERATED DISPLAY CABINET AND METHOD OF DISPERSING A BUILDUP OF REFRIGERANT GAS

A refrigerated display cabinet includes a refrigeration loop including a compressor, a condenser, a throttling element and an evaporator; a main body comprising a storage space, the evaporator is for cooling the storage space and at least one of the compressor, condenser and throttling element are located outside of the storage space; and a fan arrangement located outside of the storage space, configured to direct air to disperse any build-up of gases located in a region surrounding the bottom of the refrigerated display cabinet.

Refrigeration System

The invention relates to a refrigeration system comprising at least one display cabinet equipped with a refrigeration apparatus defining at least one refrigeration circuit and comprising: at least one compressor, a condenser, an expansion valve, an evaporator, a refrigerant circulating therethrough, a plurality of sensors measuring pressure and temperature of the refrigerant at various positions in the refrigeration circuit, and a control module configured to control operation at least of the compressor based on output from at least one of the sensors, wherein the control module is further configured to detect any faulty or non-optimal functioning of at least one of the compressor, the expansion valve and a sensor based on output from at least one of the sensors.
