Display device for illuminating packaged beverages
A display device for illuminating a packaged beverage includes a panel having a front end opposite a rear end. The panel further includes a top surface on which a packaged beverage may be placed, and the top surface has transparent portions. A light source is arranged within the panel for illuminating the packaged beverage arranged on the top surface of the panel. The display device further includes an end cap having a front wall arranged at the front end of the panel.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a door with a transparent display assembly that includes a front panel defining at least a portion of a front surface of the door, a touch sensor disposed on a rear surface of the front panel to recognize touch manipulation, a rear panel defining at least a portion of a rear surface of the door, an insulation coating layer provided on a surface of the rear panel by a metal oxide to block heat from the outside, an outer spacer disposed between the front panel and the rear panel to provide a sealed space between the front panel and the rear panel, a display disposed in the sealed space, a light guide plate spaced apart from the display to brighten up the display, and a spacer supporting the light guide plate and maintaining a distance between the display and the light guide plate.
THERMAL FRAME
The invention features a refrigerator cabinet door frame. The frame includes a thermally conductive outer frame, a thermally insulating inner frame member, and a sealing plate. The outer frame member includes a forward end having an outer surface that is disposed outside of a refrigerated cabinet with the frame mounted, and a rearward end defining a joint. The inner frame member includes a first end retained in the joint, and a second end. The sealing plate includes a first edge coupled to the outer frame member at the rearward end, forward of the joint, a second edge supported by the second end of the inner frame member, and a thermally conductive sealing surface. The first edge of the sealing plate is coupled to the outer frame member such that the sealing surface and the outer surface of the outer frame member together form a continuous heat transfer path.
REFRIGERATED DISPLAY CABINET FOLDABLE BAFFLES
A refrigerated display cabinet includes a cabinet body, a refrigerated space arranged within an interior of the cabinet body, and a door operably coupled to the cabinet body to selectively seal the refrigerated space. The door is movable between a closed position and an open position. A baffle is operably coupled to the door and is movable between an extended configuration. When the door is in the open position, the baffle is in the extended configuration.
SWING DOOR SYSTEM AND A FREEZER DEVICE
The present disclosure provides a swing door system for use with a freezer device, including two adjacent swing doors and at least one mullion in contact with the swing doors. Each swing door includes a transparent pane and a non-transparent area, with each non-transparent area proximal to the mullion when the swing doors are in a closed position. The non-transparent areas and the mullion define a non-transparent region. In a plurality of horizontal see-through angles, a view through the transparent panes is not totally blocked by the non-transparent region. The horizontal see-through angle is measured with respect to the plane in which the swing doors are arranged when the swing doors are in the closed position. When a width of at least one of the swing doors is in the range of 500 mm to 780 mm, the plurality of horizontal see-through angles ranges from 6° to 174°, preferably 5° to 175°, and more preferably 4° to 176°. When a width of at least one of the swing doors is in the range of greater than 780 mm and equal to or lower than 1000 mm, the plurality of horizontal see-through angles ranges from 5° to 175°, preferably 4° to 176°, and more preferably 3° to 177°. A freezer device comprising a swing door system is also described herein.
Edge-lit door for refrigerator unit
A door for a refrigeration unit having a transparent panel assembly having an outer transparent panel and an inner transparent panel. The outer transparent panel has an outer side, an inner side, and top, bottom, left, and right edges and the inner transparent panel has an outer side, an inner side and top, bottom, left, and right edges. A decorative design is applied to the inner side of the outer transparent panel. A population of light sources are positioned on the top, bottom, left and/or right edges of the outer transparent panel and are capable of emitting light into the outer transparent panel, such that the decorative design is capable of being illuminated by the population of light sources.
Multi-well food presentation modules
Thermally convertible food presentation modules are described. A single module may be used for both heating and refrigeration of foodstuffs as desired at any given time. Any well of a module may be switched between heating and cooling of food regardless of the status of any other well of the module.
Thermally insulated door assembly and method
A thermally insulated door assembly includes first and second panes of light transmissive material, a light assembly, and a heat sink. The first pane and the second pane are spaced apart from each other by a separation gap to define an interior chamber. The light assembly is in the interior chamber between the first pane and the second pane, and is configured to generate light within the interior chamber. The heat sink is disposed within the interior chamber and coupled with the light assembly and an inwardly facing surface of the first pane. The heat sink is configured to conduct thermal energy generated by the light assembly onto an inwardly facing surface of the first pane and into the interior chamber such that the inwardly facing surface of the first pane and the interior chamber are heated by the light assembly.
Open air food display case with automatic closing mechanism
The present invention includes various types of open-air display cases for displaying, storing, and/or vending food, beverages, or other products having a movable barrier that can be automatically positioned over an open front or side of such a unit to prevent access to the products therein when temperatures, component failure, lost power supply, or other variables affect the condition of the items stored in the display case, and methods of using such units.
Refrigerated merchandiser with removable floor
A refrigerated merchandiser includes a refrigerated insulated cabinet having a front wall that is hingedly attached to the cabinet. The front wall is rotatable between a closed position covering a storage area in the cabinet and an open position permitting access to the storage area. An opening is provided in the front wall to permit merchandise to be removed from the storage area when the front wall is in the closed position. Adjusting the front wall to the open position permits pallets loaded with merchandise, including ice bags, to be loaded into the merchandiser with a wheeled lifting device such as a forklift or hand jack. The bottom wall of the merchandiser may be removable, such that the entire floor supporting the pallet may be removed and exchanged through the opened front wall. A roller may be provided on the front wall to help in adjusting the front wall between the open and closed positions.
