Hole saw
A hole saw includes a base member configured to secure the hole saw to a drive device and a plurality of blade members where each blade member is connected to and disposed orthogonally to the base member via a respective extender. Each blade member has cutting teeth extending in a respective cutting direction and distances between the cutting teeth and the base member vary along the respective cutting direction of the respective blade members. Each respective extender is configured cantilever support opposite, freestanding distal ends of the respective blade member where each distal end of each respective blade member is disconnected from the distal end of an adjacent blade member.
Method for producing a green body and method for further processing the green body to form a machining segment
Method for producing a green body for a machining segment (51) from a powdered or granular first matrix material (56), first hard material particles (57) and second hard material particles (58), the machining segment being connected by an underside (61) to a basic body of a machining tool. The machining segment (51) has a projection of the second hard material particles (58) with respect to the first matrix material (56) on the side surfaces.
SAW CHAIN
A saw chain includes connecting links and drive links that are mutually connected by rivets in an articulated manner about rivet axes. The rivets project through at least one rivet opening of one connecting link and through a rivet opening of a drive link. At least one rivet has, on one end face thereof, a depression having a depression edge and a depression base surrounded by the depression edge. The distance of the depression edge from a central plane of the saw chain increases at an increasing radial distance from the rivet axis. The distance (e) of the base from the central plane does not increase at any point of the base at an increasing radial distance from the rivet axis. A greatest distance (a) of the base from the rivet axis corresponds to 50% to 100% of half the core diameter (d) of the rivet.

METHOD FOR SEPARATING A PLURALITY OF SLICES FROM WORKPIECES BY MEANS OF A WIRE SAW DURING A SEQUENCE OF SEPARATION PROCESSES
A method cuts slices from workpieces using a wire saw having a wire array, which is tensioned in a plane between two wire guide rollers supported between fixed and floating bearings and having a chamber and a shell. The workpiece is fed through the wire array along a feed direction perpendicular to a workpiece axis, while simultaneously changing the shells' lengths by adjusting a temperature of the chambers with a first cooling fluid in accordance with a first correction profile specifying a change in the shells' lengths based on the depth of cut. The floating bearings are simultaneously axially moved by adjusting a temperature of the fixed bearings with a second cooling fluid in accordance with a second correction profile, which specifies a travel of the floating bearings based on the depth of cut. The first correction profile and the second correction profile are opposed to a shape deviation.
SYSTEM FOR COOLING A CUTTING WIRE
Systems for cooling and directing a cutting wire. The systems include a water cooling box which permits cooling a cutting cable without any loss of cleaning/cooling fluid or contamination of the driving elements of the system. The systems also include a plurality of cutting wire directing elements which permit multiple cutting directions without derailing of the wire out of the guiding pulleys.
CUTTING SEGMENT FOR A SAW BLADE
A cutting segment (110) for mounting onto a saw blade to provide an abrasive operation by the saw blade, the cutting segment comprising a body (200) having a cutting surface (210) facing in a cutting direction (C), and side surfaces (220) facing laterally (L) with respect to the cutting direction (C), wherein a plurality of protrusions (230) extend laterally from the sides (220), and wherein the cutting segment (110, 410, 510) constituted by the body (200) and the protrusions (230) is formed by a homogenous mixture of metal powder and diamond granules.

HOLE SAW
A hole saw includes a base member configured to secure the hole saw to a drive device and a plurality of blade members extending orthogonally to the base member. The blade members are configured to cut into a structure to form a polygonal opening in the structure in response to rotational movement of the hole saw by the drive device. Each blade member is attached to the base member in a fixed position relative to the base member and has cutting teeth extending in a respective cutting direction. First and second blade members of the plurality are disposed parallel to each other and have I-shaped faces that face each other. Third and fourth blade members of the plurality are disposed parallel to each other and have I-shaped faces that face each other.
