An LED strip light for shelf signboards, comprises a strip-shaped lamp chamber, and an LED light-emitting module. The strip-shaped lamp chamber comprises a card board connecting edge, a non-transparent edge, an upper transparent edge and a lower transparent edge. The upper transparent edge is parallel to the laminate. The LED light-emitting module comprises at least one LED chip, and a strip-shaped reflective device. The strip-shaped reflective device comprises a first reflective surface and a second reflective surface. The first reflective surface reflects all the incident lights thereon toward the upper light transparent edge. The second reflective surface reflects all the incident lights thereon toward the lower transparent edge. Due to the structure of the strip light chamber and the LED light-emitting module, the LED strip light for shelf signboards allows the first row of the article display side facing the customers which are placed on the laminate and the space below the laminate to be illuminated so as to improve the user's shopping experience.

The snap assembly includes a connecting edge, a set of clamping tooth disposed on one side of the connecting edge, and a wavy-shaped engaging edge spaced from the clamping tooth. The clamping tooth inserts into the clamping slot. The lamp tube includes a non-transparent edge, an upper light transmitting edge connecting the non-transparent edge with the catch plate, and a lower light transmitting edge.

A system and method for stock-out detection in a retail environment. The method includes sending, from a reference ultrasound emitter, a reference ultrasound pulse that is at least partially reflected by a retail shelf so as to form a return pulse. The return pulse is received at a reference ultrasound receiver. A reference round-trip-delay (RTD) corresponding to a time period between the sending of the reference pulse and the receiving of the return pulse is determined. A monitoring ultrasound pulse is sent toward the retail shelf and a reflection of the monitoring ultrasound pulse is received. A stock-out condition is determined based upon a comparison of the reference RTD and a monitored RTD associated with the monitoring ultrasound pulse.

An electronic imaging device can be mounted proximate to the assembly and can be oriented to capture an image of the compression member to determine whether a particular shelf needs to be restocked and avoid having to manipulate or remove products from a shelf to determine a current stock level.
