High-Security Mounting System for Retail Device Display

This document describes a high-security mounting system for retail device display. The mounting system includes a shelf and table system having a variety of security features that help reduce theft of electronic devices presented for retail display. The devices are mechanically fastened to a stand, which is mechanically fastened to a mounting surface of the mounting system using a series of holes defined in the mounting surface. A tray is fastened to an underside of the mounting surface and is usable to house the devices' electrical cords extending through the holes. A rigid placemat is attached to the stand and wraps around an edge of the mounting surface to capture a portion of the underside of the mounting surface to resist a pull force on the stand. Optionally, a riser can be used to adapt a device's configuration of mounting hardware to the holes in the mounting surface.

A magnetic shelving fence that provides stabilization of retail products on merchandised shelving during shelving relocation. The includes an elongate multi-surfaced structure and one or more magnets. The elongate structure includes a vertical front plate, a horizontal mount plate, and an edge surround portion. The vertical front plate provides a planar barrier to merchandized product movement. The horizontal mount plate is disposed in a generally perpendicular orientation with respect to the vertical front plate. The edge surround portion connects the lower edge of the front plate to the horizontal mount plate and defines a channel shaped to surround a front edge of shelving. The magnets of the magnetic shelving fence are fixedly coupled to the horizontal mount plate. Further, the magnets are oriented to secure the elongate multi-surfaced structure with a bottom face of metal shelving via temporary and non-destructive attachment.

RETAIL MERCHANDISE SHELVING SYSTEM

Shelve brackets and shelf arrangements are provided. First and second brackets are provided. Each bracket has a support section, a mounting section and a transition section. The mounting section is laterally offset from the support section. The support section includes a vertical, top and bottom flange portions. The top and bottom flange portions are vertically spaced and extend from a first side of vertical flange portion in a direction the support section is offset from the mounting section. The transition section of the first bracket offsets the support section of the first bracket towards the second bracket and the transition section of the second bracket offsetting the support section of the second bracket towards the first bracket.
