Method for honing toothed wheels
A method for honing processing a toothed wheel in which the toothed wheel and a honing tool mesh with each other and the rotation axes of the toothed wheel and honing tool intersect at an axial intersection angle. The toothed wheel and honing tool carry out a relative movement which oscillates in an axial direction of the rotation axis of the toothed wheel and are positioned in a direction towards each other at the same time in a radial direction with respect to the rotation axis of the toothed wheel starting from an end position in order to remove material from the toothed wheel. During the oscillating relative movement which is directed in an axial direction of the rotation axis of the toothed wheel, the rotation position of the toothed wheel with respect to the rotation axis thereof is changed in accordance with the positioning in a radial direction.

Tool for Cutting Teeth or for Dressing of a Fine Machining Tool Having a Set of External Teeth
The invention relates to a tool for dressing or cutting teeth of fine machining tools, which tool makes it possible to exactly reproduce, in a simple manner, the required tooth system geometry on the fine machining tool which is to be dressed or in which teeth are to be cut. The tool is annular and has a set of internal teeth, the teeth of which mesh, during the tooth-cutting or dressing operation, with the set of external teeth of the fine machining tool in which teeth are to be cut or which is to be dressed. At the same time, the tool has a central longitudinal axis, which extends through the centre point of the opening surrounded by the tool. According to the invention, the set of internal teeth is now formed on a ring element, which is at most 5 mm thick and is produced from a diamond material. The teeth of the set of internal teeth have cutting edges, by means of which said teeth remove material of the fine tool during the tooth-cutting or dressing machining process. The ring element is supported by a support ring, on which at least one support element associated with the support ring opening of the support ring is provided. The ring element is supported on said support element. The teeth of the set of internal teeth formed on the ring element protrude beyond the edge of the support element facing the support ring opening at least over part of the length of the cutting edges of said teeth in the direction of the central longitudinal axis of the tool.

Method and apparatus for loading and positioning a workpiece on a gear manufacturing machine
A method wherein a first workpiece (2, 40) is loaded to a spindle (30) of a workpiece processing machine with the first toothed workpiece having a predetermined design and being in a predetermined rotational load position. The first toothed workpiece is stock-divided and a machining position is determined based on the stock-dividing. The first toothed workpiece is rotationally adjusted to the machining position. The teeth (3, 42) of the first toothed workpiece are then machined and the first workpiece is removed from the spindle. A second toothed workpiece is loaded to the spindle of the workpiece processing machine. The second toothed workpiece has the same predetermined design and is in the same predetermined rotational load position as the first toothed workpiece. The second toothed workpiece is rotationally adjusted from the predetermined rotational load position to the machining position by the same adjustment amount as the first toothed workpiece. The second toothed workpiece is machined and then removed from the machine spindle. The process as performed for the second toothed workpiece can be repeated for subsequent workpieces having the same design and being in the same rotational load position as the first and second workpieces. For the second and subsequent toothed workpieces, the step of determining the rotary position of the teeth is not carried out.

HUB FLANGE FOR A TOOL BODY
A hub flange has a fixed flange configured to receive a tool body. A flange socket is formed on the fixed flange for connection to a spindle shaft. A counterflange is detachably connected to the fixed flange. The fixed flange and the counterflange are connected to each other via a conical connection, wherein the conical connection is arranged coaxially to the tool axis and is formed by an inner cone and an outer cone received therein.
METHOD FOR GRINDING FINISH MACHINING OF GEARWHEELS
A method for the grinding finish machining of an already toothed gearwheel workpiece in an NC-controlled machine tool, comprising the following steps: a. providing the gearwheel workpiece in the machine tool, b. providing a first grinding tool in the machine tool, c. providing a second grinding tool in the machine tool, d. grinding machining of at least one tooth flank of the gearwheel workpiece using the first grinding tool, e. grinding machining of at least one tooth flank in the transition region to the tooth head of the gearwheel workpiece using the second grinding tool in the machine tool to generate a head edge rounding on the gearwheel workpiece, f. further grinding machining of at least one tooth flank of the gearwheel workpiece using the first grinding tool and/or the second grinding tool in the machine tool.
Machine for machining workpieces
A machine for machining workpieces includes a machine frame (110, 120), a honing ring carrier (60) which is mounted on the machine frame and in which a honing ring or a honing ring blank is clampable and rotationally drivable about its central axis, and a workpiece spindle module (50) having a workpiece spindle (54), wherein a workpiece which is to be machined with the honing ring clamped in the honing ring carrier (60) is mountable in the region of a free end of the workpiece spindle (54). The machine further includes a grinding module (130) for profiling a honing ring as a result of grinding a honing ring blank, wherein the grinding module (130) is arranged in such a manner on the machine frame (110, 120) that a grinding wheel of the grinding module (130) can be positioned relative to the honing ring carrier (60) inside a truly three-dimensional space. The profiling of a honing ring and the honing of a workpiece can consequently be effected in the same clamping setup of the honing ring. Problems, which are produced as a result of inaccurate centering when (re-)clamping the honing ring, are avoided as a result. An externally profiled tool which is specific to honing rings, e.g. a diamond gear wheel, is not required to produce the honing ring.
