THREADED CUTTER FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A THREAD
The invention relates to a thread milling cutter for manufacturing an internal thread, wherein the thread milling cutter has at least one section with multiple teeth, wherein a pitch is arranged between every two adjacent teeth, wherein the predominant number of pitches corresponds to a desired pitch and there is at least one pitch that deviates from the desired pitch.
The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing an external thread on a component or an internal thread in a component, wherein, in one step, a thread milling cutter according to the invention is advanced into the wall of the component and in another step, the thread milling cutter is moved along the extent of the wall once and in this way is moved in the axial direction by one lead of a thread turn.
CLEANLINE THREADER
A method of operating a thread milling machine includes securing a product in a securing mount proximate to the thread milling machine, the thread milling machine having a spindle; securing a combination tool to the spindle, the combination tool having a body and an insert, the body having a first end and a second end, the body defining a securing pocket, the insert secured proximate to the second end at a first side of the securing pocket, the second end attached to the spindle; and rotating the spindle.
CLEANLINE THREADER
A thread milling system includes a thread milling machine having a spindle; and a combination tool having a body and a reaming insert, the body having a first end and a second end, the body defining a securing pocket, the reaming insert secured proximate to the second end of the body and within the securing pocket, the second end of the body attached to the spindle.
Fastening devices, systems, and methods
A process of forming a fastener with improved threading to resist multi-axial forces and off-axis loading scenarios is provided. The process may include placing first and second mill tools adjacent a shaft of the fastener having a proximal end and a distal end, rotating the shaft and the first and second mill tools, and translating the first and second mill tools along at least part of a length of the shaft to form: a first concave undercut surface oriented toward the proximal end, a first convex undercut surface oriented toward the distal end, a second concave undercut surface oriented toward the distal end, and a second convex undercut surface oriented toward the proximal end.
Die Driver
The present invention is a plurality rods extending from a base of a die driver inserted into a plurality of openings in a threading die used to thread or re-thread a stud. A tool is inserted into a tool-receiving recess of the die driver and the driver is rotated.
CLEANLINE THREADER
A combination tool for a thread milling system includes: a tool mount configured to secure the combination tool on a thread milling machine of the thread milling system; a body connected to the tool mount, the body having a first end and a second end, the body defining a securing pocket; and a reaming insert secured proximate to the second end and within the securing pocket.
Die stock
A die stock comprising a holder, which is symmetrical to a centric holder longitudinal axis, wherein the holder has a plurality of receiving grooves each of which is configured for receiving a cutting insert and a clamping wedge, each of the receiving grooves extending from a first end face of the holder in the axial direction, the first end face running transversely to the axial direction, and wherein each of the receiving grooves extends from an inner side of the holder in a radial direction, the inner side facing toward the holder longitudinal axis. The die stock further comprises a plurality of cutting inserts, wherein each cutting insert has, on a front side that faces substantially toward the holder longitudinal axis, at least one cutting edge. The die stock further comprises a plurality of clamping wedges arranged detachably in the receiving grooves.
