The disclosure provides a soldering component and a method of assembling a soldering component to objects, the soldering component comprises a body part and an assembling part, the assembling part is for combining to the object, the body part has a snap-fit part, the snap-fit part has an elastic retracting space, and the elastic retracting space can elastically retract two or more fastening parts, so that each fastening part fastens into another object, and the soldering component has a solderable surface for soldering to an assembling part of the object, the assembling part of the object is preset with a tin soldering layer, which is heated and soldered the soldering component and the assembling part of the object.
Electronic assemblies having components with edge connectors
Circuit assemblies can be electrically interconnected by providing a circuit assembly having a top surface, a bottom surface, and a perimeter edge connecting the top and bottom surfaces, the perimeter edge being formed of insulative material and having a plurality of conductive features embedded in and exposed on the surface of the edge. The conductive features are arranged in contact sets, and each contact set is separated from adjacent contact sets by a portion of the perimeter edge that is free of conductive features. Each contact set includes conductive features that together form a distributed electrical connection to a single node. The insulative material is selectively removed to form recesses adjacent the conductive features exposing additional surface contact areas along lateral portions of the conductive features in the recesses.

An integrated circuit (IC) chip package includes a substrate and a wafer comprising an IC chip arranged on the substrate. The substrate includes first mounting pads unconnected to electrical connections in the substrate. The wafer includes second mounting pads that are disposed around corners of the IC chip, that extend radially outward relative to circuitry in the IC chip, that are unconnected to circuitry in the IC chip, and that mate with the first mounting pads on the substrate, respectively.
Metallic Tubular Members for use in HVAC or Refrigeration Systems and Methods of Manufacturing the Same
A metallic tubular member having a closed end member for use in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems or refrigeration systems and method of manufacturing are presented. In one instance, the method includes providing a metallic tubular stock member having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end is open and closing the first end of the metallic tubular stock member to form a first closed circular member having an outside diameter D.sub.1; forming a sealing aperture having an outside diameter D.sub.2 through the first closed circular end, wherein D.sub.2 is less than 5 percent of D.sub.1; and applying a heat-based sealing process including a metallic flow into the sealing aperture. Other methods and systems are presented.
COATINGS TO PREVENT CUTTER LOSS IN STEEL BODY PDC DOWNHOLE TOOLS
Methods of preventing or reducing cutter loss in a steel body PDC drilling tool may include applying a hardfacing layer on a surface of a PDC cutter pocket to form a covered PDC cutter pocket, the hardfacing layer comprising a metal binder and coated tungsten carbide particles; and bonding a PDC cutter into the covered PDC cutter pocket with a brazing material. Steel body PDC drilling tools may include a steel body, a PDC cutter, a PDC cutter pocket, and a hardfacing layer. Methods of preventing or reducing cutter loss in a steel body PDC drilling tool may include applying a hardfacing layer on a surface of a PDC cutter pocket of the steel body PDC drilling tool; applying a coated buffering layer on the hardfacing layer to form a coated PDC cutter pocket; and bonding the PDC cutter into the coated PDC cutter pocket with a brazing material.
METHOD OF JOINING ALUMINUM AND STEEL WORKPIECES
A method of joining an aluminum workpiece and an adjacent overlapping steel workpiece by reaction metallurgical joining, and the resultant metallurgical joint formed between the two workpieces, are disclosed. The method involves compressing a reaction material located between the aluminum and steel workpieces and heating the reaction material momentarily to form a metallurgical joint that comprises bonding interface between the reaction material and the steel workpiece and a bonding interface between the reaction material and the aluminum workpiece. The reaction material is formulated to be able to interact with both aluminum and steel in order to establish the bonding interfaces of the metallurgical joint. Moreover, the practice of oscillating wire arc welding may be employed to deposit the reaction material in the form of a reaction material deposit onto the steel workpiece prior to assembling the steel and aluminum workpieces in a workpiece stack-up.

The invention relates to an assembled undular brake disc having a hub and having two friction rings which are arranged parallel to and spaced apart from one another, which assembled undular brake disc can withstand high mechanical loads and permits good internal ventilation, wherein an insert element with arms extending radially outward in a stellate manner is arranged between the friction rings.

The present disclosure provides a plow blade edge device for mounting to a moldboard of a plow comprising at least one adapter blade including a bottom edge having selectively carbide insert(s) along at least a portion of the bottom edge. The disclosure further provides for a method of brazing the carbide insert(s) in a cavity along at least a portion of the bottom edge. The device further includes at least one wear block selectively reversible to present the adapter blade at a first angle or a second angle. The at least one wear block can include a bottom edge having a carbide insert along at least a portion of the bottom edge.
