SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SHAPING MATERIALS
20170129119 · 2017-05-11 ·

Shaping systems and methods suitable for cutting a material and deburring devices for performing a deburring operation on an edge of the material. The shaping systems include means for supporting the material and at least first and second carriage units independently operable to travel parallel to an axis of the supporting means. The first carriage unit comprises a cutting device coupled thereto with a first arm, and the second carriage unit comprises a deburring device coupled thereto with a second arm. The cutting device and the deburring device are coupled to the first and second carriage units, respectively, so as to move in a travel direction relative to the material supported by the supporting means and perform cutting and deburring operations, respectively, from opposite surfaces of the material.

A machine is provided, including at least one thermal cutting head, and at least one machining head with a coolant, wherein the machine includes a plate support table which is configured to allow coolant to fall through, a gantry located above the table and configured to travel along length of the table in an X axis, a carriage which is movably mounted to the gantry to travel in a Y axis which is at right angles to the X axis, a machining head with a coolant supply and a thermal cutting head both mounted to the carriage, at least one trolley is located below the table, wherein the trolley supports a fume chamber and a coolant tray and wherein the trolley is configured to be capable in use of moving independently or synchronously with the machinery head or thermal cutting head as required to capture coolant and fumes.

SILENT ENTRY TORCHING AND OXYGEN DELIVERY SYSTEM AND CONFIGURATION

A system for performing exothermic operations or oxygen delivery uses a rod and handle configuration to create a flowpath of oxygen. The rod includes cables having stainless steel fibers that burn using the oxygen within a hollow center area. While burning, the rod cuts through material. A sheath covers the covers to contain the gases and prevent unraveling of the cables. The handle attaches to the rod and provides control of the flow of oxygen to the rod. A manifold fixing in place bottles of oxygen connects to the handle and can be fixed to provide different mixtures from different bottles. The rod is disconnected when needed to fix a mask thereto for delivering breathable oxygen to a patient.
