METHOD FOR PRODUCING WORKPIECE PARTS FROM A PLATE-SHAPED WORKPIECE, DATA PROCESSING PROGRAM AND PROCESSING MACHINE FOR PRODUCING THE WORKPIECE PARTS

A method for producing workpiece parts from a plate-shaped workpiece in a processing machine or laser processing machine includes positioning and holding the workpiece on a workpiece support by clamping devices. A plurality of workpiece parts are cut out of the workpiece with a process beam. The process beam is moved relative to the workpiece support by a processing head and/or the workpiece is moved relative to the workpiece support by the clamping devices. A cutting process for processing the workpiece to produce the workpiece parts is interrupted at least once by a relaxation step for the workpiece. During the relaxation step at least one clamping device is released to relax the workpiece. The at least one clamping device is closed following the relaxation and before continuing the cutting process. A data processing program and a processing machine for producing the workpiece parts are also provided.

Methods for weld purging

A method for purging air from a structure to be joined by welding by feeding a liquid cryogen to the structure. The liquid cryogen will enter the structure, warm up and enter the gaseous phase very rapidly. The gaseous cryogen will displace the air that is present in the structure out of the structure and reduce the content of oxygen in the structure to about 10 parts per million when welding can begin.

Power system radiators and power systems having radiators are disclosed. An example power system includes: an engine; a generator configured to generate electrical power from mechanical power provided by the engine; power conversion circuitry configured to convert the electrical power from the generator to welding-type power; and a housing enclosing the engine, the generator, and the power conversion circuitry; and a radiator assembly configured to cool the engine and comprising a heat exchanger oriented substantially horizontally when the power system is installed.

Reusable, gas permeable purge system for welding applications

A purge system useful in welding applications to provide a shielding or purging gas to a weld site, preferably of a tube, pipe or construction, while also providing controlled release of an exhaust gas and pressure relief through the use of a permeable body. The purge system is also flame resistant allowing use in close proximity to the weld site. The design facilitates ease of insertion, holding and retraction in a tube, pipe or other construction.

Systems and methods for welding asset identification

Systems and methods for welding asset tracking are disclosed. In some examples, a welding asset tracking system may comprise an asset tracking network of tags, hubs, and/or gateways retained by welding assets within a welding area. The asset tracking network may obtain and/or communicate to an asset tracking server welding data related to one or more of the welding assets, as well as position data obtained via an internal and/or external positioning system. In this way, the welding asset tracking server may continually receive updated information regarding each welding assets identity, location, and/or use. The asset tracking server may additionally send a command to a selected welding asset that causes an interface of the selected welding asset to emit an output that enables an operator to physically identify the welding asset.

Exchangeable Wearing Part For an Arc Welding Torch, Holder For An Exchangeable Wearing Part, And An Arc Welding Torch Having Such A Corresponding Wearing Part and Holder
