WELDING GUN AND WELDING METHOD
A welding gun and a welding method with which it is possible to reduce the wait time for loading a component and to decrease tact time. The welding gun is a welding gun for resistance-welding components to a workpiece successively, and comprises a first holding portion and a second holding portion for holding a component. The first holding portion and the second holding portion are each switchable to an abutment-enabling position for causing a component to abut against a workpiece, or to a loading-enabling position for loading the component. The first holding portion and the second holding portion are switchable such that when the first holding portion is in the abutment-enabling position, the second holding portion is in the loading-enabling position, and when the second holding portion is in the abutment-enabling position, the first holding portion is in the loading-enabling position.
FLOATING ELECTRODE WELDING
A welder having first and second electrodes configured to clamp and weld a fastener to a workpiece at an opening in the workpiece, wherein the first electrode is configured to move in a direction transverse to a clamping direction to center the fastener with the opening. The welder can carry out a method of aligning and welding an internally-threaded nut to a panel at an opening in the panel. The method includes the steps of: centering the opening in the panel relative to a first electrode using a tapered guide pin that extends into the opening; centering the nut relative to the opening using the tapered guide pin; clamping the nut and panel between the first electrode and a second electrode; and welding the nut to the panel by passing current through the nut and panel from one of the electrodes to the other electrode.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING MEDICAL HEATER, MEDICAL HEATER, TREATMENT TOOL, AND TREATMENT SYSTEM
A method of manufacturing a medical heater that includes arranging, on an electrically isolated substrate, (i) a heating element configured to generate heat based on a supply of electric current to the heating element, (ii) a metal film electrically connected to the heating element, and (iii) a wiring member bonded to the film. The method arranges a lead wire of the wiring member on the film, and arranges a metal bypass member on the film. A pair of welding electrodes are connected with the lead wire, and then welding the lead wire to the film occurs by allowing electric current to flow between the pair of welding electrodes.
Stator for rotary electric machine, rotary electric machine, and method for manufacturing stator for rotary electric machine
A first terminal portion of a first terminal wire of one divisional coil, and a second terminal portion of a second terminal wire of another divisional coil, extend from the entrance side or the bottom side of a slot so as to be directed upward in the axial direction and arranged side by side in the radial direction of a stator on the upper side in the axial direction of a stator core. The end of the first terminal portion and the end of the second terminal portion are joined to each other by a joining part. At least one of the first terminal portion and the second terminal portion leading to the joining part has an engagement portion for positioning the first terminal portion and the second terminal portion with each other in the circumferential direction and the radial direction.
Welding electrode, method, and device for welding sandwich panels
A welding electrode may comprise a welding electrode body and a welding electrode cap that is connected or connectable to the welding electrode body for making contact between the welding electrode and a component for producing a welded connection. The problem of achieving an efficient heating of the sandwich sheet to be welded in a compact layout with the fewest possible modifications of the welding electrodes used heretofore is solved in that an electrically conductive resistance element integrated, or which can be integrated, in the welding electrode and which is connected or connectable in an electrically-conductive manner to the welding electrode body and the welding electrode cap is provided for the heating of the component. Furthermore, a method and a device with the welding electrode and a use are disclosed.
Electric-resistance-welded stainless clad steel pipe or tube
An electric-resistance-welded stainless clad steel pipe or tube that is excellent in both the fracture property of the weld and the corrosion resistance of the pipe or tube inner surface as electric resistance welded without additional welding treatment such as weld overlaying after electric resistance welding is provided. An electric-resistance-welded stainless clad steel pipe or tube comprises: an outer layer of carbon steel or low-alloy steel; and an inner layer of austenitic stainless steel having a predetermined chemical composition, wherein a flatness value h/D in a 90 flattening test in accordance with JIS G 3445 is less than 0.3, and a pipe or tube inner surface has no crack in a sulfuric acid-copper sulfate corrosion test in accordance with ASTM A262-10, Practice E, where h is a flattening crack height (mm), and D is a pipe or tube outer diameter (mm).
MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR CYLINDER DEVICE
A manufacturing method for a cylinder device which includes a cylinder, a piston, a piston rod, a seal member, and an installing member, the method includes: a welding step for fixing the installing member to the cylinder through electrical resistance welding; a demagnetizing step for demagnetizing at least an opening portion of the cylinder; and an assembling step for assembling the piston, the piston rod, and the seal member in the cylinder through the opening portion.
Method for manufacturing shunt resistor
In a method for manufacturing a shunt resistor, a resistor plate with a first side surface and a second side surface opposite to each other is provided. A first electrode plate and a second electrode plate are respectively pressed onto the first side surface and the second side surface, thereby forming a first connection surface between the first electrode plate and the resistor plate, and a second connection surface between the second electrode plate and the resistor plate. A first conductive module is placed on opposite ends of the first connection surface, and a second conductive module is placed on opposite ends of the second connection surface. Current is applied to the first and second connection surfaces via the first and second conductive modules respectively to weld the first electrode plate and the resistor plate, and to weld the second electrode plate and the resistor plate.
