Temporary electrical grounding system having a magnetic assembly
A system and apparatus for providing a temporary electrical bonding/grounding connection between a first conductive member and a second conductive member. The apparatus includes an electrically conductive cable having first and second ends. At least one magnet assembly is provided for mounting to the first conductive member. The at least one magnet assembly has multiple arcuate surfaces of different radiuses of curvature, with respective surfaces of the multiple arcuate surfaces being configured to properly mount to a respective arcuate surface of the first conductive member. A conductive coupling is provided on the at least one magnet assembly. The conductive coupling is configured to be electrically coupled to the first end of the cable. The second end of the cable is configured to be detachably and electrically coupled to the second conductive member.
Welding Method For Connecting A First Connector To A Second Connector, The Use Of The Welding Method, And A Welded Connection
A welding method includes providing a first connector having a first end, providing a second connector having a second end for being welded to the first end, overlapping the first end and the second end, applying a contactless heating to a central section of the first end and melting an end section of the first end facing the second connector, and cooling the first end and the second end to form a weld connecting the first connector and the second connector. The first connector and the second connector extend in opposite directions from the weld.
WELDING HELMET FOR DETECTING ARC DATA
A welding helmet for detecting arc data is provided. One embodiment of the welding helmet includes an arc detection system configured to detect one or more welding arcs that occur during one or more welding operations. The welding helmet also includes control circuitry configured to count a number of the one or more welding arcs detected by the arc detection system. The welding helmet includes a storage device configured to store the number of the one or more welding arcs.
ATTACHING AND DETACHING APPARATUS, MACHINING DEVICE, AND MACHINING HEAD
An attaching and detaching apparatus includes a main mounting plate to which a main mounting object is to be mounted, an attachment mounting plate to which an attachment mounting object is to be mounted, and a connecting member between the main mounting plate and the attachment mounting plate. A protrusion projecting toward the connecting member is formed on the main mounting plate. A hole into which the protrusion fits is formed on the connecting member. A first contact surface in the shape of a surface of revolution is formed on the protrusion. A second contact surface in the shape of a surface of revolution is formed on the inner surface of the hole. The first contact surface and the second contact surface are in contact with each other with the central axis of the protrusion coinciding with the central axis of the hole.
PROTECTIVE APPARATUS
This application relates to a protective apparatus. The protective apparatus is configured to protect a to-be-welded part, the to-be-welded part includes a welding region, and the protective apparatus includes a base and a protective mechanism. The base is configured for embedding the to-be-welded part. The protective mechanism is connected to the base. The protective mechanism includes a welding hole, where the welding hole is provided corresponding to the welding region; and a surface of the protective mechanism facing the welding hole is provided with a thermally conductive coating, where the thermally conductive coating is configured to guide substances formed in welding the to-be-welded part to slide down along the surface of the thermally conductive coating. The protective apparatus in this application can improve welding quality of the welding region, thereby enhancing performance of the to-be-welded part.
Welding equipment security
The subject innovation described herein generally pertains to a system and method for security features for a device in which functionality of the device can be limited or restricted in accordance with one or more security layers. To access functionality of the device, an appropriate security-related input is required.
Method and apparatus for a safety beacon for a welding protection device
A protection device is disclosed, where the protection device comprises an eye protection shield, a light beacon, and a control circuitry to control the light beacon.
PROCESSING SYSTEM AND PROCESSING METHOD
A processing system has: a housing in which an object is housed and that has a part through which light is allowed to pass; an irradiation apparatus that emits a processing beam for processing the object; a first member which an energy beam from the irradiation apparatus that propagates toward an outside of the housing through the part enters; and a second member which the energy beam through the first member enters, the first member reduces an intensity of the energy beam that enter the first member, the second member reduces an intensity of the energy beam that enters the second member from the first member.
FEEDBACK FROM A WELDING TORCH OF A WELDING SYSTEM
A welding system includes a welding torch. The welding torch includes a sensor configured to detect a motion associated with the welding torch, a temperature associated with the welding torch, or some combination thereof. A display of the welding torch is activated, a determination is made that the welding torch has been involved in a high impact event, live welding using the welding torch is disabled, a software selection is made, or some combination thereof, based on the motion, the temperature, or some combination thereof.
