Engraving in a computer numerically controlled machine
A method for dithering can include receiving, at a computer numerically controlled machine comprising a laser, a motion plan corresponding to a first image. The output of the laser can be dithered, in accordance with the motion plan, to effect a change in a material within an interior space of the computer numerically controlled machine. The change can substantially reproduce at least a portion of the first image on the material. The dithering can include providing laser energy to the material at a native resolution based at least on a spot size of the laser. The spot size can be determined based at least on one or more parameters of the computer numerically controlled machine and/or one or more properties of the material. The laser energy can be delivered at locations separated by a distance no less than the spot size.
Numerical control plasma special-shaped cutting machine tool
The present disclosure discloses a numerically-controlled plasma special-shaped cutting machine tool including a bracket, a cross beam, a feeding mechanism, a clamping mechanism, a gun head moving mechanism, a material conveying system, a material receiving device, a dedusting system, an electrical control system, and an outer cover. The present disclosure adopts plasma cutting, and the surface quality is obviously improved. Material conveying and cutting are performed by a predetermined program programmed in advance, and the dimensional precision of the machining is well ensured. Workers only need to place a workpiece material on the material conveying system, and the machine tool can perform automatic cutting. The labor intensity of the workers is greatly reduced, the cutting is continuously performed, and the machining efficiency is remarkably improved.
METHOD AND DEVICES FOR PRODUCING ROUGHENED SURFACES
The present invention relates to apparatuses and methods for laser treatment, more particularly laser roughening, of surfaces.
DIAGNOSIS OF STATE OF DEVICE
An example diagnosis system determines a state of a target device that includes a work apparatus. The diagnosis system includes circuitry that is configured to acquire first data generated in response to operating the work apparatus at a first pressure, configured to acquire second data generated in response to operating the work apparatus at a second pressure, configured to calculate a feature quantity indicating a relation between the first data and the second data, and configured to determine the state of the target device based on the feature quantity.
JOINING APPARATUS
A joining apparatus for the joining of a joining element to a workpiece on a joining surface, the joining apparatus comprising: a joining head that defines a joining axis; a cleaning device for cleaning the joining surface; and a drive unit for moving the cleaning device in relation to the joining head between a waiting position and a cleaning position. The waiting position axially rearward and transversely spaced from a holding device forwardmost on the joining head; and the cleaning position axially forward and transversely closer to the holding device
Additive manufacturing apparatus and system with a part detachment assembly, and method of using the same
An AM apparatus for an AM process is provided. The AM apparatus includes a build chamber with a build plate to support one or more parts built with a powder, during a build operation. The AM apparatus further includes a laser assembly operable to deliver a melting laser beam, to melt and fuse the powder used to build the one or more parts. The AM apparatus further includes a part detachment assembly, separate from the laser assembly and operable for a cutting operation. The part detachment assembly includes one or more laser beam delivery apparatuses, each operable to deliver a cutting laser beam, and a part holder apparatus. During the cutting operation, the part holder apparatus holds the one or more parts, and each of the laser beam delivery apparatus(es) delivers the cutting laser beam, to detach the one or more parts from the build plate within the AM apparatus.
Systems and methods providing dynamic bead spacing and weave fill in additive manufacturing
Embodiments of systems and methods of additive manufacturing are disclosed. In one embodiment, a computer control apparatus accesses multiple planned build patterns corresponding to multiple build layers of a three-dimensional (3D) part to be additively manufactured. A metal deposition apparatus deposits metal material to form at least a portion of a build layer of the 3D part. The metal material is deposited as a beaded weave pattern, based on a planned path of a planned build pattern, under control of the computer control apparatus. A weave width, a weave frequency, and a weave dwell of the beaded weave pattern may be dynamically adjusted during deposition of the beaded weave pattern. The adjustments are under control of the computer control apparatus based on the planned build pattern, as a width of the build layer varies along a length dimension of the build layer.
Spot welding system
To provide a spot welding system of high reliability which, when an abnormality such as a spot missing in spot welding occurs, is capable of more precisely and accurately detecting this immediately. Provided are a robot-side system having a robot and a robot-side control unit which controls driving of the robot; and a welder-side system having a welding gun mounted to the robot, and a welder-side control unit, in which the robot-side system includes: a storage unit which stores in advance a required welding time needed in a spot welding operation of one location or a plurality of spot welding operations; a welding time measurement unit which measures an actual time from when a welding start command is outputted until receiving a welding completion command; and a comparative determination unit which determines quality by comparing the required welding time stored in the storage unit and the actual welding time measured by the welding time measurement unit.

Systems and Methods to Control Welding Processes Using Weld Pool Attributes
Disclosed are systems and methods for controlling welding processes in real-time, or near real-time, as a function of a measured weld pool attribute. The welding-type system includes power conversion circuitry and control circuitry. The power conversion circuitry converts input power to welding-type power for use by a welding torch to form a weld pool. The control circuitry control one or more parameters of the welding-type system during a welding operation based on one or more attributes of the weld pool determined using a sensor configured to capture the one or more attributes of the weld pool. The one or more attributes may include, for example, a width of the weld pool and/or a depth of depression in weld pool.
