GRAIN-ORIENTED ELECTRICAL STEEL PLATE AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR
Provided is an oriented electrical steel sheet including a groove existing on the surface of the electrical steel sheet and a forsterite layer formed on a part or all of the surface of the electrical steel sheet, in which forsterite which is extended from the forsterite layer and penetrates to a base steel sheet in an anchor form is present on the surface of the side of the groove.
LASER WELDING OF OVERLAPPING METAL WORKPIECES ASSISTED BY VARYING LASER BEAM PARAMETERS
A method of laser welding a workpiece stack-up that includes at least two overlapping metal workpieces is disclosed. The method includes advancing a beam spot of a laser beam relative to a top surface of the workpiece stack-up and along a beam travel pattern to form a laser weld joint, which is comprised of resolodified composite metal workpiece material, that fusion welds the metal workpieces together. And, while the beam spot is being advanced along the beam travel pattern, between a first point and a second point, which may or may not encompass the entire beam travel pattern, at least one of the following laser beam parameters is repeatedly varied: (1) the power level of the laser beam; (2) the travel speed of the laser beam; or (3) the focal position of the laser beam relative to the top surface of the workpiece stack-up.
METHOD FOR LASER WELDING TWO COATED WORKPIECES
A method for laser welding two coated workpieces includes positioning an upper workpiece and a lower workpiece on top of each other and passing a first laser beam over the upper and lower workpieces from a side of the upper workpiece so as to at least partially evaporate the respective coating of each of the workpieces on their facing sides along a depletion trace. A second laser beam is passed over the workpieces from the side of the upper workpiece so as to melt a material of the two workpieces within the depletion trace, and thereby weld the workpieces to one another. In the first laser passing, the first laser beam melts the material of the upper workpiece, so that a web of non-melted material of the upper workpiece remaining between the melted material of the upper workpiece and the facing side of the upper workpiece.
JOINED MEMBER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING JOINED MEMBER
A joined member is provided which includes: a first metal member, a second metal member opposed to the first metal member, and a joining portion through which the first metal member and the second metal member are joined together, in which an end face in a width direction of the first metal member is in contact with the joining portion, a portion of a surface of the second metal member on a side opposed to the first metal member is in contact with the joining portion, and a region of the surface of the second metal member on a side opposed to the first metal member which is not in contact with the joining portion is covered with zinc, and in the joining portion, zinc concentration in at least one end portion in the width direction is higher than zinc concentration in the center portion in the width direction.
Laser cutting and machining method for plated steel plate, laser cut-and-machined product, thermal cutting and machining method, thermal cut-and-machined product, surface-treated steel plate, laser cutting method, and laser machining head
A laser cut-and-machined product made from a plated steel plate. A cut face of the plated steel plate is coated with plating-layer-containing metal of a top surface of the plated steel plate that is melted and/or evaporated at the time of laser cutting and machining.
Laser cutting of a pre-coated steel blank and associated blank
Method for producing a precoated steel blank including the successive steps of: —providing a precoated steel strip including a steel substrate having, on at least one of its main faces, a precoating, the precoating including an intermetallic alloy layer and a metallic layer extending atop said intermetallic alloy layer, the metallic layer being a layer of aluminum, a layer of aluminum alloy or a layer of aluminum-based alloy, —laser cutting the precoated steel strip in order to obtain at least one precoated steel blank, the precoated steel blank including a laser cut edge surface resulting from the laser cutting operation, the laser cut edge surface including a substrate portion and a precoating portion, wherein the laser cutting is carried out in such a way that the substrate portion of the laser cut edge directly resulting from the cutting operation has an oxygen content greater than or equal to 15% in weight.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MANUFACTURING HYBRID COMPONENT
The present disclosure relates to a system for manufacturing a hybrid component including a first thermal supplier configured to heat a steel plate, a rolling roll for undercut configured to pressurize the steel plate heated by the first thermal supplier, and to form an undercut on one surface of the steel plate, a first molding roll configured to pressurize the steel plate formed with the undercut to mold the steel plate in a shape of a component to be manufactured, a composite material feeder configured to supply a composite material tape to be seated on one surface of the steel plate formed with the undercut through the first molding roll, and a composite material pressurization roll configured to pressurize the steel plate on which the composite material tape is seated.
METHOD AND APPARATUS OF FORMING ELECTRODE PLATE
Disclosed is method and device for forming an electrode plate. The method includes: performing tab cutting on a substrate so that the substrate forms a body portion, an edge portion connecting to the body portion, and a plurality of tabs that connect to the body portion but are separated from the edge portion; and performing edge portion cutting on the substrate to separate the edge portion from the body portion. The electrode plate is formed in two steps. First, the tab and the edge portion are separated, so that in the process of cutting, impact of vibration of the edge portion on the tab is small, greatly reducing the risk of deformation of the tab caused by vibration of the edge portion and damage to the tab caused by being pulled by the edge portion. Second, edge portion cutting separates the edge portion from the body portion.
Systems and methods for welding zinc-coated workpieces
A welding system includes a welding power source configured to provide pulsed electropositive direct current (DCEP), a gas supply system configured to provide a shielding gas flow that is at least 90% argon (Ar), a welding wire feeder configured to provide tubular welding wire. The DCEP, the tubular welding wire, and the shielding gas flow are combined to form a weld deposit on a zinc-coated workpiece, wherein less than approximately 10 wt % of the tubular welding wire is converted to spatter while forming the weld deposit on the zinc-coated workpiece.
STATOR MANUFACTURING METHOD
This method of manufacturing a stator includes a step of removing insulating coatings on first surfaces of lead wire portions that are surfaces to be welded, and a step of welding together the first surfaces by a green laser with the insulating coatings on the first surfaces being removed and with insulating coatings on second surfaces opposite the first surfaces being unremoved.
