Cable tray support
A cable tray support includes first and second rod openings each extending through one of first and second sides of a support body to allow first and second support rods to laterally enter the respective first and second openings. First and second lateral closure members are adjacent the respective first and second openings and are movable to closed positions to inhibit the respective first and second support rods, when received in the corresponding opening, from laterally exiting the corresponding opening.

A conductive assembly including: a conductive sheet; a metallic plate; and a sheet fixing plate separate from the metallic plate, wherein: a portion of the conductive sheet is sandwiched between the metallic plate and the sheet fixing plate, the sheet fixing plate is overlapped with and fixed to the metallic plate, and a positioning recess is formed in one of the metallic plate and the sheet fixing plate, and a positioning protrusion is formed in the other so as to be positioned in contact with an edge of the positioning recess.

The present disclosure relates to systems, apparatuses, and methods for assembling cartridges for aerosol delivery devices. The cartridges may be assembled by transporting carriages between various substations at which parts are added to a base. In another assembly method, the base may be moved between a plurality of robots which direct the base downwardly into contact with components to couple the components therewith. An inspection system may inspect the cartridges at various stages of completion.
Polymer scaffolds having a low crossing profile
A medical device includes a polymer scaffold crimped to a catheter having an expansion balloon. The scaffold, after being deployed by the balloon, provides a crush recovery of about 90% after the diameter of the scaffold has been pinched or crushed by 50%. The scaffold also has a reduced crimped profile and a modification of the scaffold's ring structure at the crowns that contributes to the reduced crimped profile.

A method of manufacturing a vehicle suspension component includes inserting a cover body into an aperture of a housing, the cover body being disposed about a central axis concentric with the aperture of the housing, the cover body having a convex side and a concave side and an outer perimeter disposed about the central axis, the cover body defining a threaded bore concentric with the central axis, and deforming the cover body into retaining engagement with the housing by pressing against the convex side until the cover body is at least partial deformed and the outer perimeter is expanded compared to a pre-deformed state of the cover body.

Method of manufacturing a shrink-fit joint
A method for manufacturing a torque-transmitting assembly includes turning an inner component and machining an outermost surface of the inner component such that the outermost surface of the inner component has a continuous convex shape. The method further includes turning an external component and machining an innermost surface of the external component such that the innermost surface of the external component has a continuous convex shape. The method also includes heating the innermost surface of the external component to expand a size of the innermost surface after machining the innermost surface of the external component and placing the heated external component onto the inner component while the inner component is maintained at room temperature.
METHOD FOR JOINING A FUNCTIONAL MODULE, AND FUNCTIONAL MODULE
A method of joining a functional module comprises the steps of providing a frame structure that defines a bearing channel with at least one circumferentially closed bearing seat; providing at least two attachment parts; providing a hollow shaft that comprises at least one support section for the at least two attachment parts, wherein the attachment parts comprise a mounting seat that is adapted to a support section; feeding the attachment parts in the bearing channel in a first feeding direction; feeding the hollow shaft in the bearing channel in a second feeding direction, wherein the hollow shaft is inserted into the respective mounting seat of the at least two attachment parts; and, subsequent to the feeding of the attachment parts and the hollow shaft in the bearing channel, at least sectionally widening the hollow shaft for a torsionally rigid fixation of the at least two attachment parts with their mounting seats at the respective support section of the hollow shaft.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ATTACHING A SLEEVE TO A WIRE END
Apparatus for attaching a sleeve comprising a coupling end to a steel wire. The apparatus comprises a pulling end arranged to connect to a sleeve to be attached to a steel wire, a pulling arrangement connected to the pulling end and being configured to pull a sleeve connected to the pulling end, a swaging arrangement comprising two opposed swaging rolls adapted to crimp the sleeve to a close press fit around a loose end of a steel wire. The apparatus further comprises a testing arrangement for testing the strain capacity of the attachment of a sleeve to a steel wire, the testing arrangement including a holding unit configured to effectively hold a portion of the steel wire fixed and allowing the pulling arrangement to pull the sleeve attached to a wire held fixed in the holding unit in order to verify the attachment.

Portable, hand held, battery operated, dieless, hydraulic crimping tools are provided with a working head and a tool frame. The working head has a head frame with an open access to a working area of the working head. The open access may be in the form of a C-shape. The working head has a nest to receive a crimping member. An indentor is attached to a piston within the tool frame. The piston moves the indentor between a home position adjacent the tool frame and an indenting position where the indentor impacts the crimping member.
