A device for heating a plurality of functional or receiving elements, such as a cam, balancing mass, gearwheel and/or a bearing, may include a plurality of holding balconies disposed above one another along an axis each associated with a respective receiving element, a plurality of workstations includes a loading station, a heating station and an unloading station, and an induction heating device including a plurality of accommodation elements. The plurality of holding balconies may be individually movable in an axial direction of an axis, and/or having a greater spacing in the axial direction with respect to one another in the loading station and/or the unloading station than in the heating station. The plurality of accommodation elements may be jointly adjustable in the axial direction.

The assembly includes a launcher device having a launcher device body, a launcher device opening disposed on the launcher device body, and a main bladder substantially surrounding the launcher device body. The main bladder includes an opening that substantially aligns with the launcher device opening. The assembly further includes an absorbent liner and a lateral bladder having a tubular lateral bladder body portion and a flange portion. The flange portion of the lateral bladder is attached to the exterior of the launcher device body. A method of using the assembly includes impregnating the liner with resinous material; inserting at least a portion of the liner into the lateral bladder; inflating the bladders; pressing the liner against the pipe; and allowing the resinous material to cure and harden.

The body has a strike face with channels and at least one insert located within at least one of the channels. At least one of the channels comprises a single groove, and the insert forms at least a portion of the single groove. At least one of the channels comprises an opening on the strike face that is narrower than a bottom of the at least one of the channels. Other embodiments and related methods are also disclosed herein.

A heat treatment method is provided in which a first steel component (11) formed with a coating (111) thereon is fitted in first holes (123, 124) of a second steel component (12) subjected to a quenching treatment. The heat treatment method includes a heating step of heating the second steel component to a first temperature (T.sub.1) equal to or higher than a tempering temperature (T.sub.0) of the second steel component and higher than a temperature of the first steel component by a temperature difference (T) for achieving shrink fitting and a shrink-fitting step of shrink-fitting the first steel component in the first holes of the second steel component in a state of maintaining the temperature difference for achieving shrink fitting between the first steel component and the second steel component.

A method of manufacturing an elongate shaft for delivery of a medical device may include disposing a polymeric sheath having a lumen extending therethrough over a mandrel; sliding a proximal portion of the polymeric sheath into a lumen of a metallic tubular member; placing a polymeric tubular member over the distal portion of the polymeric sheath and a distal portion of the metallic tubular member; fixedly attaching a proximal coupler to a distal end of a longitudinal support filament; inserting a proximal end of the longitudinal support filament between the polymeric sheath and the polymeric tubular member to position the longitudinal support filament alongside the distal portion of the metallic tubular member and a distal portion of the polymeric sheath; and reflowing the polymeric tubular member to secure the longitudinal support filament relative to the polymeric sheath and the metallic tubular member.
