The method of manufacturing a treestand includes providing a solid, strengthened piece of material and removing portions of the material to form openings between structural supports. The method of manufacturing a climbing stick includes providing a frame and forming a plurality of weight-reduction apertures therethrough.

INLET LIP SKIN MANUFACTURING METHOD

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing an inlet lip skin part according to a nominal definition comprising dimensions of the lip skin and associated tolerances, the method comprising the steps of: a) obtaining at least one blank from at least one metal sheet; b) deforming the at least one blank into an intermediate part; and c) machining a first surface of the intermediate part with a first machining path, said first machining path being independent of the real dimensions of the intermediate part, and being based on the nominal definition of the lip skin part, so as to obtain a semi-machined part, and d) machining a second surface of the semi-machined part with a second machining path, said second machining path being based on real dimensions of the semi-machined part and the nominal definition of the lip skin part.

Mount System

A mount system and method of manufacture for e.g. a machine vision camera is disclosed. The mount system comprises a rectangular base, a lower clamp disc, an upper clamp disc, a tilting plate, an expansion clamp, and an O-ring. The expansion clamp comprises a tapered head screw and an expandable mandrel, both typically made of stainless steel. The mount system facilitates improved machine vision by enabling effective mounting of machine vision cameras in smaller spaces and/or spaces requiring unusual angles and intricate positioning. The mount system is also advantageous in inhospitable environments having harsh environmental factors. The mount system is also easier for machine vision personnel to learn and understand.
