An ultrasonic surgical instrument comprises a cylindrical shaft and a blade at a distal or free end of the shaft, the blade being unitary and continuous with the shaft, without an intervening joint. The shaft has a longitudinal axis and the blade includes a flat or planar blade body with a proximal end eccentrically disposed relative to the shaft axis. Thus, the blade body or at least a proximal end portion thereof is disposed eccentrically relative to the shaft. The blade in its entirely may be inclined relative to the shaft axis or extend parallel thereto.
Method for Manufacturing a Continuous Drill Ring for a Core Drill Bit
A method for manufacturing a continuous drill ring for a core drill bit is disclosed. The method includes forming at least two green compacts in layers in a direction of formation between a bottom side and a top side by successively applying powder layers containing a powder mixture and diamond layers containing diamond particles that are arranged in a set pattern, shaping the green compacts into ring segments under the effect of pressure, sintering the ring segments under the effect of heat, and combining the sintered ring segments in a circular manner and joining the same in a frictionally engaging or integrally bonding manner at the lateral edges thereof so as to obtain the continuous drill.

A manufacturing apparatus of a ring-shaped band saw blade for manufacturing the ring-shaped band saw blade including a tooth tip to which a hard cutting tip is joined. CUTTING TOOL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A cutting tool includes: a base metal provided with a seat portion; a blade edge member that is a polycrystalline diamond sintered material containing polycrystalline diamond and a binder; and a brazing material that fixes the blade edge member to the seat portion of the base metal. The blade edge member has a thickness of greater than or equal to 0.3 mm. The brazing material is disposed between a blade edge bottom face of the blade edge member and the a seat bottom face of the seat portion and is in contact with the blade edge bottom face and the seat bottom face. The flank face is located outside of the base metal with respect to the lateral face of the base metal.
CUTTING TOOL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A cutting tool includes: a base metal provided with a seat portion; a blade edge member that is a polycrystalline diamond sintered material containing polycrystalline diamond and a binder; and a brazing material that fixes the blade edge member to the seat portion of the base metal. The blade edge member has a thickness of greater than or equal to 0.3 mm. The brazing material is disposed between a blade edge bottom face of the blade edge member and the a seat bottom face of the seat portion and is in contact with the blade edge bottom face and the seat bottom face. The flank face is located outside of the base metal with respect to the lateral face of the base metal.

A method of forming a processor disk for a processor of materials may include providing a disk blank with a central portion and a perimeter portion, with the perimeter portion extending between the central portion and a circumference of the disk blank, the perimeter portion having a perimeter surface; and applying material to the perimeter portion of the disk blank to form a plurality of teeth on at least the perimeter surface of the perimeter portion. A processor disk may include a disk blank with a central portion and a perimeter portion, with the perimeter portion extending between the central portion and a circumference of the disk blank and having a perimeter surface divided into opposite side surfaces by a circumferential edge; and a plurality of teeth formed on the perimeter surface through application of material to the perimeter surface.

A method of forming a processor disk for a processor of materials may include providing a disk blank with a central portion and a perimeter portion, with the perimeter portion extending between the central portion and a circumference of the disk blank, the perimeter portion having a perimeter surface; and applying material to the perimeter portion of the disk blank to form a plurality of teeth on at least the perimeter surface of the perimeter portion. The projected shape is drawn on a projection plane parallel to the tool axis.
